The difference in quality of corners last night was massive. Wigan from memory, hit one bad corner, which was the the one straight as I praised how good and consistent they had been. Our dead ball delivery has been all over the place for some time. Scott came in the team , did them well now can't seem to cope. James did the same, Naismith looked good to start then quality has dropped (plus he's sure more of a threat on the other end of a cross). I was impressed with the standard of Wigans corners, but it has to be said that they didn't really cause many more problems than ours. Really don't know the answer to this.

OK, Being old school (and just old) I thought the Ref still lead the decision of how long to add. That said , and the fact that Wigan could have scored has no bearing, it is a minimum of 'X' minutes. Stroud has the power to add as much as seems fit, he did try to gee them up to get on with it, but then added virtually nothing on at the end. Personally I will be glad if they take the timekeeping away from Refs somehow, so the added time doesn't seem so random.

I was surprised, but sort of understood getting fresh legs in. Hindsight is easy, but it would have mad sense to just change 1 or 2, let them get used to how we play. But with the tougher game (. in theory at least ) Saturday, I get resting Wells & Sykes, Maybe I would have mixed it over the two games more. TBF I wasn't upset when I saw the team, Wigan were decent, that cost us points more than the new front 3. I think it will be a mix on Saturday. Possibly Mehmetti/Wells/Sykes , at least that would be my chooice.

I don't know Tom, or how much he watches or studies us. But I would love to know his take on the fact he haven't scored a goal from outside the area this season . Add that to his opinion we never get players in the box, just how do we score ? I didn't think he was any worse than any of the other rubbish Refs we have week in, week out. But he still pisses me off. What was it, 4 2nd half Subs, 5 bookings , keeper down for 2 minutes and no end of time wasting. That adds up to 4 mins? Yeah ok Keith.

Yeah. Sounds , on the surface a very confident , focused Manager. Yet hasn't managed to get a tune out of either of the other Clubs he's been in charge of. He is very easy to dislike too.

Makes Jones seem even more of a confused, bizarre character . Didn't he say he was one of the best coaches in Europe ? Yet it sounds like he hasn't the confidence to stamp his style on a Club that isn't Luton. Compromised at Stoke, compromised at Southampton, who will take a chance with him after his next spell at Luton ?

Yet a cursory look at the table and we are on the same points, all be it they have played 2 more. Amazing what momentum does for the way we look at the Table. Personally being a worrier , I won't relax my fear of relegation, until we're in a Playoff spot.

My mate has been saying for a couple of months they are in trouble. Seemed to start when Beale was linked with other jobs. Then the wheels started to fall off when, after he was linked with a return to Rangers, he turned up at a game, not a great look. They've struggled financially for a while, Dykes was their only senior striker and he has had Pneumonia. That's why Martin went there , he was OOC and they were desperate. I looked at the table and 5 teams have to overtake them. The teams in the bottom 3 have no more than 7 wins in 30, average less than 1 PPG, so you'd think they would struggle to overtake a team 10 points ahead, but not impossible. QPR have to visit B'pool and Wigan, 2 massive games. Also, it could make our last away game awkward . I could be staying at my Brother in Laws , who is QPR and drinking in my mates local , he's QPR. Originally didn't want to go as I honestly thought we might need points to stay up and they could be going for the Playoffs. Could be a different scenario now.

Exactly. Even if they make an excuse of not seeing the incident, just having their view would take some of the frustration away. He may have followed the ball and missed both incidents, which would be bad enough, not hearing him say he missed it make him appear incompetent .

I really want some feedback from or about Refs after a game. They deem it worthy of a 4 match ban, yet the Ref missed 2 incidents. The Wells one, Nakhi had the ball at his feet so the Ref had to bee looking at it. The Scott one from the video it looks like the Ref would have to look directly past Scott and Evans to follow the ball. Why don't we get some feedback or explanation about incidents like these. I know that the Powers that be will protect their own, but a little clarity would help. Let the Ref explain what he did or didn't see, not keep them in ivory towers and rely on some other office to try and right their mistakes retrospectivel.

With the amount of CCTV in modern grounds, I'm amazed they haven't got footage of whoever did it. Cowardly act.

South Stand, Atyeo and one block in Lansdown lower showing sold out. Lower Lansdown looks about 200 seats left, but fair few in the upper. Looks like fair few in the Dolman too. My guess about 24k , it is only a guess. There are a lot of single seats which might put some people off. **************** Just ignore this I'm an idiot ************

I think the balance of the show has been good. Shown how they have engaged with the community and adding some players stories. Obviously have the showbiz angle , but TBF it's that that brought in the Disney and TicToc link . Averaging higher attendance than some (certain) League 1 teams, so everything is there to go higher. How high , how soon and will Reynolds & McElhenney lose interest just makes the program more interesting.

I'm sorry , but that's a ridiculous statement. If my memory is right, we either made a small profit or at worst spent very little. Remember we sold Baldock for £2.5m and for once Manager & recruitment was working together and spot on. Mainly free ( Little, Elliot , Wilbraham ) , yes we paid for Ayling , Freeman & Smith but I think Agard might have been the most expensive at around £800k.
