  1. My computer seems to have gone wrong...
  2. Just saw a mate post, they do have a sense of humour at least. Apparently they were singing ...... ?he scores when he wants?.
  3. Apologies if this has been posted before but .....
  4. Do you know, I never thought of it like that before. Time to get the old chant going... the g*s , the g*s , we’ve got to get rid of the g*s
  5. Fixed that for you, remember where you are
  6. For some reason we had tickets for one of their stands, about a van load of us, I remember Timmy Mallet was up behind us and someone complained about us being loud by asking ,"do you always support your team with your mouths?" Wrong end for the goal too.
  7. would love the R*vers supporters club (AKA the Post) to interview the guys holding this fraud shoulder high. So how do you feel now then. Mind you, if it carries on he could be carried down North street. All together now... "the gAss are going down"
  8. Just got back from London (saw Weller at the Festival hall) look on here and I've missed 5 pages. What did I miss
  9. And for that alone, we could never really hate him ??
  10. Modest, self deprecating , intelligent , truthful , and informative. All things not involved in the above post, typical gAss W
  11. I know which category you fall in to, most definitely..... I shit you not
  12. Here you go fella, fill yer boots. https://www.thepetitionsite.com/en-gb/create-a-petition.html?src=bing_sem&campaign=create_a_petition_usa_c_inmarket-bing:start petition:e:V11026-ETA:&s_kwcid=bing_sem&msclkid=8f0869c50016112915e13262edd32aae&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=In market&utm_term=start petition&utm_content=Start Petition - Exact
  13. I think it only right if they did go into administration that WE carry him down Gloucester Road should high
  14. I hear the rumours of the UWE being on again have been going around up there. Surely they wouldn't have splashed out on new stands if they were moving soon
  15. Not that I follow what happens over there too much but the UWE ? Wasn't the problem with that , that the stadium (and so part of the revenue) wouldn't be theirs. Wael wanted to own the whole thing and obviously there was nothing in that for the Uni lot. Now this consortium coming in have a choice of developing the Rugby ground and so harvesting all sales and revenue from football (?) for them selves , or be part owners and so have to split income (however meagre ) with the UWE. And lets not forget the new ground will cost a lot more than the Men site is worth, unless the UNI is going to let them have it free. Wasn't there something on here about the land being a donation and so could not be passed on I'm just thinking out loud here but ..... The gAss are loosing thousands a week as things stand, and they get all money generated from the ground . If they have to pay rent and split revenue with the UWE, even if crowds go up a little wouldn't they potentially be in an even worse position as they wouldn't even have the asset of the ground. Then there's the training ground, I wonder if the family (Dwayne sports) will be happy to give it away , to the club or consortium or would they (the new people) have to buy that too?
  16. For some reason this has always annoyed me, they have never had a stadium better than ours, hardly ever had one on a par. They are pathetic , really, and sadly (?) can't help themselves.
  17. You're being unfair Monkeh, we took just under 8,000 to the Etihad and the next home game at the house of tents was 9k. They still beat us
  18. Ahhh , you see , I took the figure from their website (and the Post ) but forgot to divide by G*slogic ( delusion x bitterness + stupidity)
  19. 1750 is a decent following on a midweek. Yes it was £15, Yes it was London, Yes it was the first time they'd been there in getting on for 40 years, Yes it was their cup final, But for a small club that barely scapes 8,000 for home games, that's good.
  20. FFp and the fine/embargo doesn't kick in until January. McLaren was saying there is money to spend on players coming in. Now whether they trust him with any funds is another thing. I also heard someone say they could still bring players in IF they have someone going out on more money, that was a new one on me.
  21. I don't listen to LJ's interviews, did he really say (after £16m-ish profit from transfers) that we didn't get a striker to replace Djuric because of budget ? Shocking state of affairs when with one striker banned, you sell the other as the season starts. A really half arsed way to run a club. That is a frightening thought. Eisa would have been my first sub today, give him some time and at least he seems to have a little pace. Again half arsed...... lose what potentially (Flint,Reid,Bryan & Fam) 45 goals and replace them with a wing and a prayer.
  22. Granted few and far between but Patterson (without seeing the highlights properly) had a good chance and tried to go around the defender instead of shooting. Not sure if you'd count the 2nd one that hit the woodwork as clear but fractions lower and it's in. The first one was unlucky but not what I'd call clear cut, even the one the keeper saved diving to his right , not sure I'd say clear cut. I did look at their goals though, though we were unlucky. First hits Webster on the back of the head and wrong foots Hunt, I would say we should have won the ball easier though. The 2nd goal is a foul on Hunt, looks like Asombalonga has both hands on Hunts shoulders to win the header, how the Ref didn't see it ?????
  23. 26 years since they played there in a league game, they'll take a decent following. You'll know if they take loads, they take as many/more than we did = all over social media, they take less = silence
