  1. I see it's Taylor Moore Vs the gAss tonight. Can't copy the tweet in , but nice to see him add #COYR and #City in there. Hope he has a blinder.
  2. I'm not ITK, but I do listen to and read about City. If this is about last season attempts at getting some top strikers in, well , I did read/hear ... We had bid accepted We matched wages the player came out of respect, but wanted to go elsewhere. Maybe it was a little ambitious , but if you don't ask you get. Plus simply the fact that Lee Tomlin is here, suggests he does back up words with deeds. Plus there has to be common sense with wages, as we have learned to our cost they can soon spiral, not something that is likely to happen with the Mem's Billionaire is it?
  3. Doesn't make me eel any better. Still , I was wrong about that maybe I'll be wrong about not getting enough wins
  4. So we probably need 4 wins. Am I right in thinking we haven't beaten a team above us all season ? And we have played all (ha all !) the teams below us twice already
  5. Thank Flint for that. Lee Johnson tactical geni ...... no not even as a joke ........ Well done City a must win won
  6. I hate RB commentary, always sounds so exciting and makes me ******* nervous.
  7. I would guess a lot would depend on what the Billionaire told him, new ground, more funds etc. Norwich are a good club with ambitions and money to spend, would be a big decision to turn it down. Oh I should say ..... if offered
  8. Sensible post ...... mods , ban him !! Mags can't play LB don't you know , must be lies about playing there for his country. JB has been the worst defensive FB at the club this season, further forward he's OK . He is not nearly good enough defender to play there now. I guess it's just luck if your number comes out of the tombola, yer in !
  9. Got to be 4-3-1-2 At least he didn't go big man with no wingers. or wingers with no target man as he has done. Not sure I like Wilbs the only striking option on the bench. Again he shows his garbled thinking though. Praise Djuric , then drop him. Odowda highly praised for Tuesday, dropped and a must win game start a recently injured striker and have only one replacement on the bench !! Before I get shouted at I should say natural striker on the bench.
  10. From going there with work many years ago , all I remember is coming across Orangebloom (?) lager in the Orwell. All I remember from going to their old ground, it was bloody cold.
  11. Bet he never makes it the same way twice , or with the same ingredients
  12. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Think back to Wigan at home, they were good and winning it was panic, kitchen sink football, them sitting trying to hold a lead that gave us a little more chance to attack and we won. Most teams sit on a lead a little and allow opposition to push on, that's not necessarily down to good play. What I would like to know is , how do we actually get a lead against good teams (Newcastle,Derby,Sheff W,Reading) and capitulate. Where as against weaker, less potent sides where we might have half a chance of holding out, we never go two or three up....... maybe today?
  13. Sorry, no offence intended. It did take a couple of goes , and to be fair it's unlikely they'll be able to grasp the technique
  14. FTG (**** the gas) is set in the forum swear filter I believe . Changes U T. G to FTG Mods , stand up and take a bow
  15. Good point ? Yes , but another 2 points lost. I don't go along with it'sa 90 minute game and doesn't matter when you score bollox. Any reasonable side hold on to a 2 or 3 goal lead. And I don't care they are the Leaders, Derby and Reading aren't. It's shit that we can't hang onto a lead, we expect to concede when we score, if we don't score we expect to lose , which under the LJ watch has happened A LOT ! He chose his trusted players today, fantastic. It means he has brought in lots of players he doesn't trust . He also chose that team the other night ,that turned in the most abject performance I have seen in an age . But lets not dwell on that , or the previous months of pathetic performances or lack of leadership. At the end of the day it was a good draw (same as at Derby they ran out of time), but I won't be starting a parade for LJ just yet. A question for all the happy clappers/LJ supporters ..... would you really look forward to another year like this? TBF I can't see SL spunking another £15m on LJ's quest to buy the world though.
  16. Had to go out and was away from any tech, we must be the only team that when you turn on the radio, you sigh when they say we are 2-0 up
  17. Is it his Birthday, I think they get their Birthdays off down there. I saw Hodours photos, nice of them.
