It’s either going to actually be a continuation of the last two games and we could run riot, or we will revert to inconsistent type and draw 0-0/narrowly lose. -

Amazing stuff mate. You’ll certainly get your fair share of good karma for being so selfless, considering the fair share of shit that’s been going on for the majority of people in the country over the last 4/5 years. Have a great one all. -
Will need to see the details really. If they’re just taken ITV’s allocation, don’t think it’s that much harm done as their coverage is ******* crap imo. If it’s BBC however, this is terrible news. However is Yet another ‘house always wins’ when it comes to handing money over. on a day where British Gas record 10x increase in profit since the same period 2 years ago. Quality of life in this country atm, regardless of your interest, passion or hobbies is in the absolute pits.

Believe someone said the hamstring he’s torn isn’t the one they took muscle from to reform the acl. So it’s unrelated.
-
That’s manager/HC talk for “he’s picked up another niggle/injury but we can’t say it”
-
But they’re loaded and don’t need the money, absolutely no red flag here whatsoever….
-
Surprised they didn’t just say, We’ll wear this seasons kit on Saturday to commemorate our 3-1 win against Southampton on the 13th feb 2024

Thats why I I think James will go. Hes the older, more expensive, player. Bird is certainly the type of player that will be his replacement too imo. What I would say is that, for squad depth, we should really have all 3, I think people forget we overall have a very small squad still. But finances might not allow that. I honestly don’t think they can think or plan about Benarous atm, given his horrific injury woes. He is also much better in more advanced roles, rather than play in CM the way that TGH/James/Williams do.
-
Both him & Joe Williams said publicly in press conferences that they want to stay. Cant get much more clear than that that it’ll be (broadly) a club decision if they go. What I would say, is that if the club are still undecided on them both even after they’re incredible performances over the last few months, then they wont be getting new deals. If that can’t convince them, surely nothing can.

I haven’t heard a scooby to be clear, just really can’t see him staying. Hope I’m wrong

Honestly if anything summed up Mehmeti, it was the assist. Got himself into a good area, decent bit of skill, miss places an easy pass, yet somehow works in his favour and gets the ball back, delivers a brilliant goal-ball after. -
I see they are lauding and in awe of their own manager going over to them at FT and pretty clearly telling them that he thinks their support is ******* terrible and they need to do better. Odd bunch
-
You could see how much it meant to him at FT too. Couldn’t stop grinning as he walked around clapping the stands.
-
I’m going to miss watching him play every week so much. I really am.

That’s the best one touch finish we’ve seen all season, from the lad who apparently isn’t even a league one footballer -

This is ******* great -
Saw some odd stat that Deepdale is awful for player injuries too. IIRC Pearson was pretty pissed off at the state of it when we played their last season, and said it was a large contributor to Naismith’s injury because it was so soft. I have heard anecdotally, that players do really feel aches/pains a lot more after playing on heavier pitches as the modern day studs/blades don’t sink in as well as they used to, as they’re focused more on being lightweight on feet to help with speed etc.
