That’s the best one touch finish we’ve seen all season, from the lad who apparently isn’t even a league one footballer -

This is ******* great -
Saw some odd stat that Deepdale is awful for player injuries too. IIRC Pearson was pretty pissed off at the state of it when we played their last season, and said it was a large contributor to Naismith’s injury because it was so soft. I have heard anecdotally, that players do really feel aches/pains a lot more after playing on heavier pitches as the modern day studs/blades don’t sink in as well as they used to, as they’re focused more on being lightweight on feet to help with speed etc.
-
Course they do. But my point was a pretty public fact, really… Players being ‘rushed’ & whether that’s true or not, is another point altogether. Everyone will have a view point on that.
-
Which is why it was so embarrassing for JL/Tinns to stick their head above the parapet and blame the prev medical staff for injuries, when 95% were in-game.
-
keeping it at 3pm away earlier in the season, made absolutely no difference to anything. Showed there’s no need to move it any earlier or later. It’s been proven.
-
This deserves an explanation from medical experts Tinnion & Jon Lansdown immediately.

That “statement” is one of the strangest stat padding & useless ‘updates’ I’ve ever seen

Really excellent pre match presser with Manning on the clubs YouTube today. Highly recommend -
He is one of the best midfielders we’ve ever had. Would honestly even put him in the question of best ever. I’ll really miss watching him play every week.

They don’t help themselves…. My maths isn’t great, or maybe my hands are small, but is 10 really a ‘handful’?

My MOTM today by far. Having McCrorie back is probably the safety net, and also competition for him to step up, he so greatly needed.
-
Matt Taylor quite spectacular on RB Can change players or formations but it won’t change the outcomes, players not interesting in going towards the ball, can’t defend their players for the goals they’re conceding Sounds like he’s had enough already tbh “Nothing to play for? What about personal pride?”

I’ve said it a lot now, but I’d be amazed if he was here in 6 months. I think his lack of impacting games due to the system, when he knows the quality he has, given the interest in him, he’s probably very keen to move on. Tinnion ( I think, maybe JL) saying he’s essentially turned down 3 separate contracts says it all. -

Anyone who’s up top solo in that role seems to be extremely quiet and on the periphery of the game. Was a victim of how the second half went as a whole, but Tommy touched the ball 6 times in the 40-odd minutes he was on the pitch. -
Keith Brookman on RB is some odd bloke isn’t he. “Season might fizzle out soon” (already has mate), “why do we loan so many players without giving our own youngsters a chance” (everyone has been telling you that for years pal) “we should recall our loanees once we’re safe from relegation and give them a go” (you literally can’t do that mate) Sums those oddballs up.

Not pessimistic at all, just fact really. Much better first half from us than second. Don’t see why that’s pessimistic but yes I am a pessimistic, awful fan -

Max has made 3/4 good saves, McCrorie with a goal saving block, their goal just now which looked onside…. We’re certainly racking up our 9 lives
