Nottingham Forest away fourth round FA Cup replay match thread

I’m not being OTT in saying that Wells miss might be the worst I’ve ever seen in a city game. Almost a bit relieved it happened to him and not Cornick. -

Yessss Jamie knight-lebel -
Crazy isn’t it. But I guess Taunton are desperate for the cash. Over 2hrs trip for a home game!
-
If it was Isaac Finch, he has been signed by us as of last week I believe. Will be with the u18s.

Depends on what we see, I suppose. But based on injuries & suspensions this is pretty much the best team we could put out tbh. -

Would love to see a Venn diagram of people complaining about that line up & those who thought we should’ve played better away at Cardiff -
State of the pitch, state of that club as a whole. They were coming for us with Anderson v2 a few days ago. Tragic
-
Signed on a 4 year deal, so still has 3 years left this summer. Wouldn’t bet against them getting around that tbh, if someone really wanted him they’ll have to stump up.
-
Remembering they said this, is an opportune time to point out that the club still haven’t officially announced that Olly Thomas has gone to Yeovil on loan, nor if Lewis Thomas is still here on not as his contract ended at the end of Jan
-
I really rate him. But agree it makes no sense him being on the bench atm when we aren’t even playing a formation that would suit wingers.
-
Think it is Dave. Was signed into the academy at 9, so a proper homegrowner
-
Was on the bench against Norwich too
-
He had a great pre-season last year too, and is very well thought of. IMO they left the loan decision too late, so by default could only really go to Weston/Yeovil or someone of that ilk because of window timings. I rate him a lot, but I’ve said for years Jamie KL is the one that impresses me the most. Even his 10/15 away at Cardiff you could tell he has the quality.
-
That’s the age group a few below, that the likes of Ephraim / Araoye / Morrison / Meerholz were part of at that time. Ironically now, don’t think we’ll see many coming off the bench getting first team minutes for the forseaable!
-
In a similar vein but from a head coach perspective, is how LJ viewed Wade Elliott too

Don’t the big PL sides dictate you have to go to X amount of home games as a ST holder, or at least your ticket needs to be used for X amount, or you can’t renew the following season? Ive no idea why we don’t do something similar, especially now that we can transfer digi tickets.

This. I’ve been astounded at some of the best coaches/managers I’ve seen at any level, and how different they are ‘in the zone’ compared to off the pitch. It brings out totally different sides to people. Same as players I guess. Korey Smith by all accounts off the pitch is the most placid, quiet, laid back guy ever but as soon as the whistle went he was a Duracell bunny who’d scream and shout at anyone in his eyeline.
