  1. Would be nowhere near the England squad if he wasn’t at United. I’ve really never got it. Never known someone play at such an elite level get away with consistently giving the ball away, running down blind allies and making awful decisions in the final third. He’s like that kid you always had in your school team or something that thought he was better than everyone else so didn’t want to pass to anyone.
  2. Basically 9 points adrift already. Doesn’t look good at all. But if someone like DC can’t turn it around, hopefully doesn’t damage R Wade’s reputation too much so he can land on his feet somewhere.
  3. He’s somehow had a clanger for every goal and given away a penalty. Takes some doing.
  4. TNT sport/BT sport coverage is so so so so soooooo bad. Galatasary have just missed a pen at old trafford…. Darren Fletcher - “OHHHH HES MISSED THE PENALTY!!!!! What drama!!!!!!” Glen Hoddle - “….for me, that’s a poor penalty”
  5. Badge is almost turned 45 degrees on the shirt he’s wearing in the announcement video they’ve just put out. Looks so ******* amateur.
  6. Beating 10 man port vale, are they coming for us again?
  7. Place in the squad is different to what it was 12 months ago, and also suggests we’ve probably had interest in him too
  8. 3 new deals in 3 consecutive years gotta be a record? Incredibly well deserved as well
  9. What the actual ****….so because it worked for a grand total of 4 minutes, that means it’s fine. What an absolute joke.
  10. Spent a fair few weekends in Oxford for a prolonged period as one of my exes lived there, I was surprised how properly rowdy their fans are. Pubs etc after wins in the city centre (considering the ground is nowhere near) got pretty lively, saw some trouble with opposition fans too. They’re a much bigger club than people give them credit for I think. Certainly not a friendly/sleepy club full of posh tories that people may expect given the area and what the city is known for etc.
  11. Created nothing….come on now. Second half you had a Last ditch tackle from 4 yards out on Yeboah, Naismith somehow couldn’t fumble in from 2 yards out, first half had Sykes cross that Bell was close to getting on the end of to score again from, Wells hit the park behind the stand from 20 yards out which should’ve at least forced a save if not scored from. it took A wonder strike first half totally against run of play and deflected side foot 1 minute into second half to somehow drag you back into it, and they were total sucker punches, something Neil sides have mastered against us no matter who he’s managed. Possession stats are pointless, just ask Southampton fans. You also don’t need to play beautiful intricate passing when it’s literally so ******* easy to clip balls over to get in behind a team on the wings. There’s a difference between direct and long ball. Leicester won a premier league doing it. Chanting that you want your own manager sacked 20 minutes into a game against an awful long ball side, now somehow he’s a master tactician after a proper smash and grab. Away end must’ve been absolutely beautiful, we’ve all been there, but let’s not kid ourselves here
  12. This has been so totally blown out of proportion it’s pathetic imo. Talk of having the game replayed? Give me strength. It’s not a World Cup final. It’s a huge **** up, but Liverpool have been on the right end of some poor calls in their favour since VAR was introduced but they were fine with that. We didn’t see anywhere near this level of scrutiny for the goal line tech issues that sent meant Villa didn’t go down. It’ll have no bearing on where either team finishes this season, but I’m sure they’ll try and make it relevant somehow. If it’d ended 1-1, a result Liverpool would’ve been broadly happy with probably, it wouldn’t be getting half the coverage it currently is. But Matip Shanghai’d one into his own net through no fault of an official so it’s the end of the world.
  13. Tanner and Sykes injured and doubts for Wednesday. So that covers off 2 of the 4 subs straight away.
  14. He’s fully burned his bridges at QPR. Whored himself out to Wolves then tried to act a saviour when turning them down. Then jumped at the best possible chance. Fans won’t want him back by any stretch at all.
  15. He won’t get a better job because he’s said this will be his last one….and he’s had ample better jobs in the past than the one he’s currently in! He absolutely has done enough, more than enough, to be given another deal. If people want to live off win % stats and whatever else then go for it. We were celebrating getting corners when he came in. First team players playing hide & seek during training, first team players thinking it was deemed strict to ask to be on time for meetings. A squad full of players that had absolutely £0 in value, combined. The culture he’s sorted and created is nothing short of exemplary, but as he’s sorted out so much mess the Lansdown’s won’t admit to have being set in at the club anyway, we’ll never hear the full extent of it.
  16. Bournemouth knew the severity of the injury, as his medical and scans were not showing good signs at all. They said as much after it was confirmed, but they wanted him so badly they are willing to take the hit and gamble. If it was a ‘normal’ signing or maybe someone that wasn’t top of the list, it was a bad enough injury for them to scrap the deal.
  17. Naismith has also bailed Zak & us out a fair few times this season. Two brilliant last ditch tackles in the space of 3 seconds against Plymouth, not to mention the excellent last ditch one against WBA. Are people really expecting him to be as good on the ball as he is, with his delivery, and his passing, play CB be strong as **** and make no mistakes? And still be in the championship?! I think Vyner has had a good season don’t get me wrong, but let’s not shy away from the fact a fair few of his last ditch excellent defensive tackles have come from errors he’s made in the first instance. We were incredible defensively last week. This week we got done by an absolute wonder strike (yes, could’ve been defended better, but he’s still got a hell of a lot to do), their second is a good cut back that takes a deflection on it way past Max, third we’ve been hit after throwing everything forward to try and win the game again. It’s football. It’s definitely the championship. It’ll happen to us again this season probably, and I’ve no doubt we’ll do it to someone this season too like we have done countless times over the last 2 seasons. We absolutely should’ve been out of sight. Two decent penalty shouts, Yeboah’s chance cleared from 4 yards out, Naismith’s from the same distance straight at the keeper, Bell getting on the end of Sykes cross, Wells hitting Long Ashton from 20 yards out centrally with no defenders ahead of him. First time we’ve conceded more than 2 goals in a game in the league in almost exactly 12 months, that doesn’t scream to me constant defensive fragility or that we’ve been lucky this hasn’t happened earlier with whoever we’ve had at the back. One of the most frustrating losses in many a game, but definitely not one to start making 5/6 changes from, including putting Roberts at LCB on Wednesday…!?
  18. To throw someone under the bus like that, who is someone who’s really badly struggled with mental health issues, which the manager will know more than anyone else, is absolutely vile. To pin their loss on a ‘barmy 2 minutes’ where someone is a little bit injured and could’ve gone down is borderline hilarious, borderline schizophrenic. I cannot wait until Barton is out of this city, the air will become much cleaner. Vermin ***.
  19. Luke Thomas, who he now wants ‘out the building’ after giving him a 3 year deal in the summer. The absolute gift.
  20. Wowza R Joe the brilliant man manager naming and shaming someone they thought was gonna win them the World Cup this time last week
