Cardiff City away match thread

Just need to get behind them today. We’re down to the barest of bones. We’ll see a lot about their togetherness and commitment to the club & coaching staff today. -

Well, the overarching club dream and aim was to fulfil a competitive squad made up of Bristolian/academy players. Looks like we’re gonna be doing that and sitting 2 points off the play offs. New contract worthy for the manager I say! -

Idehen would be ‘ahead’ of them because of first team exposure, but let himself down with off field stuff which is why he’s dropped out. I really, really rate Jamie and was expecting him to be blooded this season, Cardiff would be a baptism of fire though. No chance for me, he’s a RB, and is only really on the bench as hes the only other fit full back we have at the club. Only 17, has hardly even been around the u21 squad.

Idehen or Jamie KL will be getting a start at CB, imo.

Having a Gas on Rb, incredible. You’d think he’d died and had led them to 5 straight back to back promotions the way the fans and Radio Bristol are discussing him. Nathan Jones they want, but not Gary Rowett as that isn’t realistic……
-
No he was definitely sacked. Very short statement too, only him gone…. suggests there’s been a bit blow up of sorts.
-
Apparently their attendances will go up again now because of people who refused to go to games until he left. I thought they sold out every game home and away and desperately needed a new stadium? How they gonna fit all the outliers back in? I can’t keep up.
-
Tweeting you’ve appeared on a conspiracy theorists podcasts the morning you’ve been sacked. Says it all really. Could even have something to do with it!!
-
That statement suggests a big blow out to me. Very short and sweet, two days before a game, and his bezzie mate staying on the lead the team….
-
It shows they know how ****** they are if they don’t get promotion this season
-
Hard to use yesterday as an anchor point really given how patched up we are. Tbh for me it’s just about picking up as many points as possible whilst the squad is in its current state, however that may be.

Pearson’s comments make it even more confusing tbh. Says he was limping, but seemingly was a minor injury that he didn’t trust him to play though

A defender playing in defence or an out and out wide forward playing at LB…? -

I think we’ll make it permanent quite early in January. -

A squad with 3 u23s defenders on the bench and Andy King at CB sitting 2 points off the play offs Not too bad is it. -

No conspiracy from me. Just certainly didn’t look like he was injured judging by the way he reacted to seeing his number come up. -

Think we couldve drawn/won that with more injuries back. Players are so clearly behind Pearson and playing for him it’s unreal. -

Why did he looked so bemused at being subbed and pearson tell him to sit next to him whilst he tried to sulk to the back of the dugout? All seems a bit odd -

Definitely didn’t look like an injury judging by his reaction -
