As others have pointed out, the club just need to periodically demonstrate that they are making an effort. In the 4 seasons it’s been like this there have never been any large issues and (quelle surprise) fans have just sorted it themselves. Long may it continue.

Without starting a spat, I’m still waiting for your solution to this problem. Despite supporting Pearson, I’ve said many times he may not be the answer. I don’t know an alternative now so struggle to give the veiled calls for a change that you do. Whats the answer?

Agreed they are the facts, but based on the game I watched Luton deserved the win.

Vyner is a steady, average player. The problem with his kind of average is that we arrive there through one passage of play where he is well above average, followed by a passage of play well below ?

It wasn’t. We created nothing of note. I’m not even sure Baker scored. They played all the decent attacking football, sliced through us at times, missed two absolute sitters in front of goal and hit the woodwork twice. I don’t mind highlighting the positives of Massengo and Pring but be big enough to admit who deserved the win.

Tonight was awful though. Slow and ineffectual all over the pitch. If we would have lost 3-1 you couldn’t have had any complaints. It was turgid to watch. We can debate all night about how and why Lansdown and Ashton led us here and how we try to move forward but tonight was pathetic. We didn’t lose 3-1 because they hit the woodwork twice and missed 2 sitters in front of goal.
