That's a stupid question, you would want to lose against the bottom teams and not your promotion rivals
I think it needs a little perspective and to be honest I think wolves don't count from here on in.
I'm really not bothered by the result.
Naive? Maybe, but not unexpected given the style and attitude that Lee has created in giving us one of the most entertaining seasons for 25 years.
I would suggest a 'pass' has been earned this season and hopefully most fans will be rational enough to give it to him.
Don't forgot we ate threadbare as it is competitively.
On to Villa.

If i told you city would lose 9 or 10 this season, which games would you pick?
This us going to happen in a season. Pick ourselves up and move on.

The most impressive thing is that Forest have turned up and are just playing two banks of 4, relying on the break (and they've had moments) to get anything.
When did teams start to fear playing little old Bristol city so much.

Simply unbelievable

I swear I`m more nervous when it`s live on TV than I am at the game.
I'll struggle to watch it. Nerves get the better of me.

Fresh from ruining Animal kingdom, I am now at the Disney yacht club for my anniversary.
I'm not a monster so I'm not watching the live stream, just refreshing the phone and relying on updates f5pm reddave!

I did a similar thing back in about 2011. Kept refreshing my phone for the three games we were away for.
Came home to a £950 phone bill. Oops.
Brilliant! My wife is extremely annoyed, my dad in law and sons come off of a ride and first thing they ask, how did city get on. Cue shouting and cheering
-
Brilliant result. Well worth pissing off the whole family in Disney's Animal Kingdom by just sitting down and refreshing my phone for an hour.

I thought we played well tonight. Just ran out of steam at the end. On another night where the best inter play up front just falls the right way, we easily win 2 or 3 nil.
As for Burton, what's the problem? They literally did the only thing they could. I've got no problem with that, the ref should have been more wise to it, but hey ho.
Welcome to life as a decent championship side.

City have played really well.
2 decent Championship sides. We may end up losing by the odd goal, but if you're going to finish 15th then you've got to lose some.
-
Great point! Great display apparently.

It maybe (sadly) he's worth 5m. A decent striker to help push you into the playoffs would cost £10m

Thanks for the detailed response that doesn't just say we're playing very poorly. Not to say the people who are saying that are wrong, but we don't need to hear it constantly.
Would love to tell you something different. Yes we've had possession but when's it knocking it sideways across your own back four it tends to get missed.

Poor first half. Slow , no invention, Millwall coming through the middle all to easily.
Let's hope for a much improved second half.

Judging by though stats and some iffy decisions, they seem unlucky to only be on 1 point. I think they're a much better team than the table suggests.

Drugs are just great ,aren't they ?
They have their place.
Making peace with life helps as well. I just don't honestly see how we're that much better than at any other point since our return to the Championship. I'm not angry about it, it's just how I feel.

This thread reminds me of last season.
The difference is I'm not angry anymore as I have accepted things for what they are.
It's a happier place

I personally like the idea of a financially club. Its an admirable goal to aspire to.

I love watching city and had a great time last Saturday and will have a great time Tuesday.
That said even I can see we've made no progress over the last 3 years. It's not doom and gloom it's just stating the obvious. Now Tammys gone i cant think of one player who would command a place in the starting 11 of a top 3 Championship side. There isn't a single player who would be in a premiership squad. It's quite clear there is no real desire to push on, which is fine. If Lansdown can balance the books and make our club secure for future generations then that's okay.

Such a promising third transfer window as well.

Barnsley are a solid organised championship team.
Although the goal was awful, not an unfair reflection of the game

How does a (recently) stable team go from one extreme to the other?
Because of the quality of the teams we played?

Even in Rugby you'd be off the pitch for that challeng.
Very dangerous, God knows what the ref was thinking.
