  1. From what I've heard, most likely a disappointment for us! Especially considering some of the names mentioned so far. I’m assuming we're not quite the target market... I do hope I'm wrong though.
  2. Yeah I saw the same on BBC News.
  3. Few hundred grand . Granted he's nowhere near £15m but he's worth more than Matty ****ing Taylor.
  4. Urban Tandoor is great... not too sure about their singing though (They have tons of these videos, great social media presence).
  5. Shocking lyrics it has to be said but the track is solid. Love John Squire, what a man.
  6. Just based on what's being discussed and rumoured so far, I wouldn't get your hopes up mate!
  7. I actually forgot @internetjef recommended Deadletter not long ago as well, great recommendation. Stone are another good one, supported DMA's here the other day, very decent.
  8. Very much the same. Have heard they could well be at Glasto, potential Other Stage headliner I'd guess.
  9. Either that or JL's Spotify Wrapped! But fair play to them for trying to put more events like these on. They're a good idea.
  10. That sort of thing would be right up my street too.
  11. I think Reading do this now don’t they? Forwards here in Bristol too, plenty in Australia and Europe too for sure.
  12. I can't see that honestly, I think 2 stages next to each other is the most logical if it is definitely 2 on the pitch. Maximises the capacity moreso than the other 2 setups.
  13. Interesting, I hadn't thought of that... I wonder if they will go with one at either end like Forwards, or two next to each other so there is basically no gaps between sets. I gather the lineup is going to be a bit more erm... Love Saves than some of the suggestions here.
  14. Certain it's this. And I wouldn't get your hopes up...
  15. Yeah no chance it's Taylor Swift.
  16. No idea who he is but seems to have a huge amount of listeners on Spotify. Touring the UK end of June too...
  17. I didn't say that but if making shit up makes you feel better do carry on. They are definitely not bigger than The Beatles overall by any stretch. But I definitely have younger family members who could name 10x as many Oasis songs v Beatles, they are without a doubt bigger in the younger generation. There were people congratulating Kanye years back for working with the 'new, upcoming artist' Paul McCartney ffs .
  18. Not necessarily to be fair. She did a tour in the UK not so long ago where she failed to sell out the Stadium of Light I think it was. It wouldn't surprise me, not that I think it's her.
  19. The new Liam and John Squire tune I mentioned is out this Friday. Could be coincidence, not sure it's the sort of act I could imagine them bringing here, but worth mentioning.
  20. That sounds awesome, he always plays a ton of Oasis bangers so you'll be fine.
  21. I do think that an Oasis reunion, should it ever happen, has been hyped to such a ridiculous level now that it could never possibly live up to it. And it would no doubt cost £300 for a ticket and be full of the piss-throwing chavvy bell ends that end up at these gigs. They do have really strong songs though that are the best to belt out, and both Noel and Liam live are good fun. As far as Manc bands go, The Smiths and The Roses were better for me but I think a lot of the Oasis hate is purely down to how 'everywhere' they are. In some very specific demographics they're arguably actually bigger than The Beatles, so I can see why they do some people's heads in and would be a Room 101 band.
  22. It seems Liam Gallagher will be touring his new album with John Squire next year, I wonder if this could be a part of 'BS3 Live'? With both announcements seemingly imminent it could make sense.
  23. As you say, it depends on what you count as 'interest' or 'following'. I have a bunch of mates who regularly bet on it, but none of them 'follow' it or have any clue about particular horses, and sometimes don't even watch it. It's just some passive weekend fun for them.
