  1. If you and me have independently come to this conclusion then it's 99% happened. Saw something on twitter earlier and he gave off the vibe of being quite happy with the situation. Pearson's comments about being questioned why Andy King is playing CB would almost certainly be from him especially with him probably wanting to see Aroyaye/Knight-Lebel/Idehen given a go.
  2. You've just said what I implied. He's the obvious link here as soon as you analyse the situation. I'm not comfortable with that at all. He did this previously, for his own ends and that was disastrous.
  3. Spot on. There is a lot of delusional stuff going. A lack of self-awareness from key characters. From the arrogant owner, his tumbledown son and our Technical director who I fear has been a key player in all this behind the scenes.
  4. Ironic isn't it that they've actually done this sacking in a planned way. They know it's seriously unpopular. No wishful thinking. A clear indication it's got nothing to do with results - they just wanted rid of their turbulent manager. Clearly someone other than SL & JL are doing the leg work. Are we in a situation where someone is secretly working as a consultant for them to enable this dirty work to be done? Or is this Tom fella from Wimbledon the new kid of the block? I've heard a rumour that there was a meeting this morning when free agents were being suggested to Nigel who basically told those present that he wasn't having it. If so then fair play to him.
  5. You do realise that wanting a job is not the same as actually getting it? It's why I'm not an astronaut.
  6. You need to change your boxes
  7. Think he needs to watch his previous performances back..
  8. I did my level 1 coaching badge with Natasha Harding. Quite a ferocious character. She actually scored the winner away to Barcelona then got the penalty at home when we knocked them out. Good player but bit of a gobshite.
  9. 100%, but that should be communicated to him. He has clearly implied that he's heard nothing. If what Kid says is true, then they're just plucking up the courage to tell him.
  10. It's not really about deserving a new contract for me, more that we need to give him one to ensure he can carry on doing his work.
  11. First 20 minutes up to James' injury was 1 way traffic. They should have scored at least 2 in the first half. The chances dragged wide particularly were poor finishes. The change to a 4 with Roberts pushed into wide midfield made it slightly less worse but it was only when he was rightly hooked for Knight that we actually got any kind of foothold in the game. After that it was an even game. Made up for the Stoke result.
  12. As soon as I heard that Stokes was picked for this tournament despite having retired from the format and having an injury, I thought oh dear. We won the World cup then ditched any interest in the format. Lack of games played has stopped us bedding in enough new players. Shambles...
  13. Brexit means Brexit is some measure of toughness is it? For people with IQs below 70 maybe. 2 things have nothing to do with each other and that the phrase is a rather desperate attempt by a certain brand of politician to popularize their political goals in tough man language. It's pitiful.
  14. Will be in their euros squad. Might even overtake Adams and Dykes.
  15. It will be 2 tournaments until the knock outs effectively.
  16. People pay similar to sit on some uncovered scaffolding in Bath to watch rugby during the winter.

You can have Rashford and Foden, but who else is available who should be playing???
  19. Yeah but these ceremonies are always a load of self delusional shite. London Olympics opening ceremony was lapped here but the rest of the world that it was dogshit.
  20. If he is selling then there's no way he'll get rid of Pearson. Remove and we suddenly look as rudderless as we did during the Holden interregnum. That would drive down the sale price.
  21. Definitely get the Guernsey resident bit. He's lived there for some time now hasn't he? His connection to Bristol is inevitably going to wane.
