People who think we don't miss Fam are blind. An aggressive player who always contributed defensively and on occasion was a match winner.

Add Dunk, Mee and even Eric flipping Dier to that list.

What's the point in an edit feature when it autocorrects what you're editing?? It autocorrected Source to source on my post initially and now won't let me correct it. Bizarre. -

Early start on the Source nev? -
Because that journalist is wearing tiger tinted spectacles. Not too concerned about Earl and Malins. We did well when they weren't available. I think the real concern is replacing Siale Piatau and Jon Afoa. Lahiff and Armstrong are nowhere near Afoa/Sinkler standard

These sort of threads do show who has a clue about football. Vyner has strengths and weaknesses like all our players. Up to now he's been used in 3 different positions. I like the fact that he's been told RB is you, Concentrate on that. He will improve and we'll see him settle there. Personally I would like to see Tanner played in front of him to provide a bit of thrust, energy and protection as has been done on our left. There was a reason why Massengo was put there and it wasn't his crossing ability.

He's like someone who's nicked a credit card.

Ever been to Ipswich? It's not going to be highly finessed and well-thought out.

She's got a good job there. Emma Hayes knows her stuff

Cardiff City away - match day thread

Anyone having red button issues on Virgin media? -
I think Vyner did well at right back. Massive improvement on the what we've had previously. For me the problem is inside of him. We have to play a right footed centre half. Baker's card was insane. He didn't go with the runner for their goal when he was nearest. It's either Baker or Atkinson with Kalas for me.

The Coronavirus and its impact on sport/Fans Return (Merged)

My biggest fear about these lunatics spouting unjustifiable nonsense is the way their nonsense will be used to try to bully those with genuinely held concerns about the direction of travel with regard to vaccine passports and that is dangerous. Personally I am really uncomfortable with the removal of access to normal things like football, concerts etc if you have not received 2 vaccinations. It does not sit well at all. -
Local Government is a catch all phrase covering planning to Social care to bin collections to tree officers. Comparing it to the private sector is like comparing running a bakery to being a tiddly winks player. Or a shellfish to a bin bag. The main reason why both Bristol mayors have been failures is they don't understand the organisation they lead. One's a local businessman not averse to a bit of cronyism the other a career politician who worked for the NHS. Zero insight so unable to be effective. Forever falling into the trap of employing failures from elsewhere who aren't up to the job.

Well said. As a Nimby here that is my only concern. I'd like there to be something in place preventing both facilities being used simultaneously. Eg if city are home on a Tuesday night you can't have a concert at the same time. The additional parking needs to be used for football and rugby supporters on matchday

The main point is that whilst all this was transpiring, the rest of the scrum was able to recover which meant Leicester lost their dominance and Big Jon did the rest. I thought it was world class gamesmanship from Pat and Big Jon. It took 6 minutes to do what we were always going to do.

GIve them a choice. 24 points in the Championship next year or 12 this year (ie relegation). I'd choose relegation if I were them.

This. He is by no means guaranteed to continue improving with us or Palace for that matter.
-
spot on. He's got top level potential but not really top half championship ready. Not only would it get revenue in but it would allow 2 or 3 new signings of the right age and experience at this level.

Pat Lam namechecked him on Friday night saying he is working with Bristol Bears. You would hope there may be a chance of him working with City's players given his background.
