Curle and Hollowhead are mates I think. Wouldn't be surprised to see them both there

Good man. Nothing wrong with pissing off the bunch of massively overpaid bluffers they had at the time. One suspects he called a few out and they simply didn't like it. Kitson's a classic bluffer. More interested in journalism than football.

Classic overthinking going on right now. We will end up needing 2 wickets and wishing we had another 5 overs to bowl. Fools

Can't believe Morahan is being rested as he's only played 3 games since the season started. Semi picked up an injury last week and came off. Interested to see how the Argie prop does. Battle up front will be key. If we can get enough of the ball we will win. Just hope it's not like the game last year which was a kick fest.

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2021/feb/02/burnley-us-takeover-has-left-club-90m-worse-off-and-loaded-with-debt The excellent David Conn explains the latest in a long line of appropriations of football clubs that put them more at risk than they were before.

Sale issue was in some part caused by a false negative for one player who then played and it spread rapidly. -

You would have thought it was more transmissable but, how come City have had more cases than Bristol? Training grounds about 400 metres apart. Twice as many rugby players playing a game that as you say involves more close contact. It's not necessarily the game, its behaviours away from it . The celebration on the pitch is a clear indication that they aren't taking the rules seriously all the time. Fair play to Harry Kane last night making a point of not allowing close celebrations in the team. Proper leadership clearly lacking at most clubs. -
A big part of it is that Sinkler played with the ref for 5 years at Quins. In fact Karl Dickson was apparently the player charged with keeping him out of trouble. The reaction was therefore, in some part, towards someone he was very familiar with. I cannot believe Sinkler would've spoken to Wayne Barnes like that for example.

The other night for the Sheff U v Newcastle game, at the end they showed Wilder shake hands with 3 or 4 of the Newcastle bench then he stood there rubbing his eyes and nose. That literally in a 10 second period was an example of how Covid is transmitted. -
Any advice about mitigating achilles pain from running? I've been out a couple of times since new year but have to wait 5/6 days before trying again due to the pain. Cycling is less painful..

That ref ruined the first half. Like he wanted to break some kind of record for most penalties. A very good performance though..

Is seating vs terracing part of it? -

So, will sales be limited to people who live in Bristol? Or just Tier 1 and 2 areas? The Women's games in Bath stayed behind closed doors because most supporters would come from a tier 3 to a tier 2 area to watch the game. -

What this shows is that the border is ludicrous. One end of Filton Avenue is no different to the other. They are both in Bristol. Kingswood is in Bristol. gerrymandering by a tory government in the 1970s created the situation. -

This is all very lazy. At Fulham, Reid plays mostly as one of 3 in a 4 2 3 1 formation behind Mitrovic. If he'd been on the pitch this season to take penalties when awarded, Fulham would be 2 points better off and he'd have 5 goals. He's scored 3 goals in 9 appearances 4 of which were as sub. Same number of goals as Tammy Abraham who has started 6 games as centre forward for Chelsea. -
I don't. It's a consultation for people directly affected (ie live locally). They've made efforts to contact people directly which is fair enough. They want comments on the specific plans not necessarily general comments from people from Cheddar or South Glos.

Pity Southampton Women's FC didn't draw Southampton FC Women Wonder what they call that match? Pedants derby?

Leicester were woeful. Only attacking threat was their 10's left boot. Barely threatened our line.

More or less what happened with Rugby. You either gave your refund 'to the academy' and got a guaranteed 'free' ticket to the first game to be open for fans or got a ticket credit with 1st dibs to buy a ticket. One suspects the tickets will be about £40/£50 each. -
See that Bath have are the only team not having their game scheduled for next week moved back. Gives them the opportunity to go full strength for both games whereas everyone else has a 4 day turnaround...

Women's football is in a financial transition. The best players are recognised and now commanding fees but other teams like us who pay the manager double fa and use college graduates. Results like ours and West Ham's are inevitable.

That was Lam's point exactly.

Just watched it back. Thought it was a good performance overall. As RedM says if they didn't have Itoje you kinda think we would have won fairly comfortably as our line out wouldn't have been torn to shreds by him. He's a brilliant player.
