If I could afford to make my teeth 50% better than they do. I would.
I’ve been told they look like tombstones and can’t disagreeI don't think they're better though - they're totally unnatural looking. No teeth, however well you look after them look like that. It just looks weird imo, although if people want to that's fine by me.

As it stands
6095 unsold + 4200 for the Atyeo plus whatever is held back for hospitality & South stand POTD
On that’s basis I reckon about 14k again wouldn’t be far off the mark.
Yes I was bored so counted them
Blimey.
If you look at the page source you'll see a JSON object in there full of stuff like this:
{
"guid": "e79935ff-5695-4725-bedd-6126de0f4d53",
"name": "W9",
"type": "SelectedSeats",
"free": 184,
"soldOut": false,
"isBlocked": false
}
Then write a bit of code (or whack it in a spreadsheet if that's easier) and sum the free column. It's currently at 6331 free and will save you a lot of time!

Like I said a bit of crazy unwarranted (perhaps) support for the club might be the missing piece in the puzzle but that is not a realistic Bristol trait really.
How can you say this and then a couple of posts later bring up teams like Man U and Leeds as examples of things we're missing? Unbelievable. Man U fans hate their club with a burning passion, and Leeds and absolutely militant and unaccepting of anything even slightly substandard.
Ridiculous. At least get what you think straight.

I don't think Nige would fire shots at SL even if he's entitled to.
I reckon he'll say things like, "We felt that we'd laid the foundations for success", "Year on year improvement", "Confident that we could have acheived given time", "Chairman/board saw it differently", "Fans and players believed in what we were doing", "Nothing surprises me in football these days."
I agree, but he comes across as a very thoughtful bloke and I have no doubt he'll be choosing his words very carefully to remain professional but also provide a few subtle nods along the way as well. He's not going to outright say anything rude or stupid of course, but I wouldn't be surprised if he makes what he wants to known as well.
We'll see!

Why does Manning (hopefully) doing well also always seem to mean that Pearson had to be shit? Or if you think Pearson was doing well, then Manning has to be shit?
How about Pearson did a good job for us, progressed us, Manning took over, had a wobble as he found his feet, and now will hopefully go on to do a good job next season and progress us again. That's what we all want isn't it?

Pretty sure it was Leicester because they had Chris Weale in goal.
Just checked, you and @Chairman Mao were right!

David Clarkson lobbing the Leicester keeper from about 40 yards at an extreme angle.
This was against Birmingham wasn't it? Unless I'm thinking of another goal / my mind is playing tricks on me. From near the halfway line in front of the old Williams stand?

If the management think he’s not good enough then fine and I don’t have a problem with that because they see him every day, my problem is that the critics on here have been judging a 19 year old ever since seeing him play for 30 minutes
But they're probably judging him off both those things right - he had a really poor cameo then hasn't even made it in the pitch again even when we're miles ahead or have nothing to play for.
It sounds fair enough to me personally.

Agree completely but we have so many “experts” on here, probably the same people who were slagging off the likes of Bobby Reid and Semenyo in their early days saying they weren’t good enough to make it
But Bobby and Semenyo were talked up and continually given chances by our coaching teams/managers. As well as by a reasonable number of fans who'd seen them many times for the youth teams. That's not happening here.
In this case they (the coaching staff) clearly don't see him as good enough, and given we've barely seen him I don't think it's unreasonable for people to take a general steer from that is it? There are more ways to learn about things than just seeing them with your own eyes.
If you think he is going to make it I'd be interested what you're basing that off? Presumably if so that's in contrast to Manning and co it's actually you who thinks you're an expert.
Or you just have no opinion at all I suppose, in which case why are you here?

It’s pretty chilly when the sun goes down - currently it’s 7*c in Nailsea. If I was going out I’d have my hands in my jacket pockets.
Are you suggesting they should probably have jackets on as well..? Might be a few chilly breezes inside the Molineux?

He’s already openly said he wants to stay, so ball is fully in the clubs court.
Is he someone who fits Manning’s ideal style though? Still impossible for us to make a decent call on, but my immediate hunch would be no.
I agree.
I don't think Manning would have signed Williams himself... But I'm hoping that as he's seen the value he can bring to the side and the edge he has - which is often missing from very technical players I suspect Manning likes, he'll decide to keep him for the balance it gives us.

Also pretty confused by the King Power stadium making the list. I've only been once but from memory it was one of the dullest generic bowls going.

The competition has to have the same regulations in every round. It wouldn’t be acceptable to introduce ‘no replays’ in round 3 when the big boys join in.
No it doesn't. 5th round onwards already has no replays.

Even moreso for a head coach who has never blooded youth in his career.
I get what you're going for, but I think we need to be a bit careful here - has he really never blooded youth in his career? Do you mean a team's own academy specifically, as that's a very different claim. What is "youth", what is "blooding" them?
A quick look, at MK Dons:
Brooklyn Ilunga: Gave him his debut from the academy at 17
Callum Tripp: Gave him his debut from the academy at 16
Signed and played:
Patrick O'Hora: 21
Matthew Dennis: 19
At Oxford:
Gatlin O'Donkor: Regular starter at 18 from the academy
Tyler Goodman: Played at 19 from the academy
Stephan Negru: Debut at 20
I'm not trying to go out of my way to defend Manning, but I'm just interested where this "He hates youth" thing comes from. His signings have been pretty young, he's playing some pretty young players... what do we mean specifically here?
The above is from a quick look so might be a bit wrong. It feels a bit like it's been said a few times recently though and is now accepted as truth.

Its from what i've seen in the past 3 years at A.G Clearly a guy in the game for so many years will have more successes than someone new to his trade. But also many more failings. It's like saying Warnock was successful as a manager. Of course he had successes but he had a more than a dozen failings that can be easily forgotten. Someone new like Liam has only had one sign of success (Oxford) and is too you to have failed. My judgement is an opinion just the same as yours. We will have to wait and see
I think the issue with your logic is that failures also help improve your judgement of a player's ability both potential and present.
You don't get better at picking and developing players just by having "hits" - in fact the experience of what doesn't work is just as if not more valuable.

The bit I don't get though is that we don't actually need that money really, do we. We need the FFP headroom, not the money itself.
And there's obviously a time factor there, so it's not like you can save the money and use it a few years later instead, that's not how it works. To make the best use of what selling a player really gets us - 3 years or whatever of FFP headroom, you need to use it asap. We've sort of lost 1/3 of the Scott money by doing nothing.
