  1. Bakinson and James does not work as a centre midfield pair. Do not think this is the way forwards, so glad to see us try something different in Joe Williams. Martin and Wells not quite clicking but I hold out hope they can form a partnership.
  2. Bakinson is not up to it today. Fulham do look very good.
  3. Really frustrating. We’ve put in some really good performances against the likes of Boro, Swansea and Cardiff - but today I have to say we look really poor. Not able to string more than 5 passes together, full backs woefully out of position and offer nothing in attack, ball not sticking up top… Nigel has his work cut out this half. Preston do pass the ball around well, but also are very niggly and physical. Ref has given us very little, but we have also been bullied off the ball far, far too easily this half. Sort it out Nige!
  4. Absolute limbs. Remember it vividly, also have an equally poor early smartphone recording of this saved somewhere on my PC.
  5. Wonder what Stockhausen is up to these days?
  6. I saw we were 2-1 up on BBC sport so put Netflix on. Have only now seen that we have in fact lost this match. What the actual ****?
  7. Boring, boring transfer. Should have gone United, that would have spiced the prem up a bit. Not saying United could have afforded him mind, but at this rate City are going to win the prem at a canter, with PSG following suit in the champions league.
  8. I bloody hope not. Very fond memories of going in their pre-match with my dad for many years. Will be very disappointed to see it as anything other than a pub.
  9. I like their beer, I can't stand Ferguson. Ah well, suppose I'd rather a local business does well than some shit like Carling.
  10. Sorry totally new to this thread, so I imagine this has already been asked but... how/where can I watch the Womens' team matches?
  11. OSIB is good, but at times is too forgiving to the mismanagement of the club and/or Holden & Ashton. Debate is good, and trying to see all sides of the argument is admirable, but sometimes you’ve just got to call things on the pitch (or in the boardroom) as they are - currently ****ing woeful! May give FBC a try for a few weeks, to see which I prefer.
  12. Truly an utter, utter shambles. Sunday league teams are better ran than Rovers. Why won't they just fold and admit they are a JOKE of a professional outfit? Reforming as a fan-owned phoenix club (I don't know AFC Rovers or something) would probably be the best thing that could happen to them in years!
  13. I've been reliably informed from a source working at UWE that there is no movement on their stance R.E. the stadium. Either the gas pay for it or it'll be renovated for another purpose. The VC up there is wanting to transform Frenchay into an academic supercampus. The new business school is finished, with a new engineering and science block being built fairly close to it. Plus UWE are near completion on their own sports ground Hillside Gardens. Can't see that they would build Hillside gardens if that plot of land you refer to is still to be used for sporting purposes. Which it 99.9% won't be.
  14. I quite like that! Out of Rovers price range clearly though.
  15. Several malicious attacks blocked by my antivirus on opening that - do not recommend.
  16. 1-1 draw for me. Can't see this being a particularly attractive game for the neutrals either.
  17. To be fair I'd much rather watch babestation than the gas.
  18. My team trains at Eastville park - reckon we could give them a good game.
