tinman-is-god
Isn't he 6''8' and an absolute beast? If this is true then I guess Iwuelmo is heading back. Pretty sure he's played for Austria too.

Tom_BcFC
In all fairness despite his size, he is a great player and would do well at championship level

Redcliffe 78
Hasn't been near the Wolves team don't know if it because of injuries Man City 28th Dec. Wolves programme in front of me i went and watch them play Chelsea the day before we done WBA. Before that though always involved with the squad. tinman-is-god
He could do well here but it stinks of desperation - our 4th loan striker of the season, yet more changes to the side and this just makes me think Gary is trying anything to try and change the situation, rather than knowing his best team and formation. jfkerton
well with 2 6'3+ strikers in the team, he can return to hoofball. this is ofc assuming we extend iwelumo's 1 month loan. or is this a swap for him?
BITW
If this happens Iwelumo is almost certainly going back. A mate said something to me along the lines of us having another wolves striker lined up if CI returns to Molineux.

Sent of this year coming on as a sub at home against pompey lets all not go down the route of judging someone lets judge them if and when they get here. Mr Gow
Two thoughts spring to mind here if this is true 1, GJ is a desperate man clutching at straws and is willing to sign any striker available over 6.2 2 If this is true then it just highlights one other thing about GJ that has well and truely pissed a lot of fans off... JOHN AKINDE anyone?
eskay
The season is over, we have to settle for Championship status. Let's stop wasting money and use Akinde. The only way he is going to get any better at this level is to play at this level (not League 1 or 2). Maybe that way he will be a regular next season. Surely that is why we bought him! marshy
The manager is obsessed with strikers. I think he's trying to go through the alphabet. If he is this is a bad deal as we already have one beginning with M. What we surely need to do is to strengthen the defence as there is no competition for places, unless of course he's prepared to 'risk' playing a couple of our younger guys. westonred
Didn't GJ come out and say in the papers recently that he wasn't going to bring in anymore foreign players on loan and would stick to home grown players as its too much of a gamble ? JOHN AKINDE anyone? So you don't think there is any sense in having more than one option in a position then? If Iwelumo is recalled by Wolves, you are quite happy to have as our only target man a 20 year old who failed in a recent loan move to League 1? Have you seen this guy play? If this is true, then it is a shrewd move to give us more than one option in that position, but then I don't expect the people who post on this forum to agree to me. I suspect if Johnson negotiated the free transfer of Didier Drogba, there would be people on this forum calling for his head.
bangers
Were not gena go down so we should save money and stick to wat we got. like to see akinde get a run with maynard but more money wasted again.
Nibor
Yes, clearly we can't play any sort of football without a six and a half foot striker. Really. I mean, that was the problem against Donny and Reading right?
