Ed any bristol city rumours? Heard Danns, woodgate, wright-Phillips, buzasky any truth in any of these?

{Editor Note: I don't know mate, sorry.}

If we signed Woodgate on loan maybe Milly sees Fonts competing for the left back slot...

we would have

Skuuuuuuuse / Ribs / Carey - Right back cover

Caulks / Woodgate / Cisse / Stewart/ Carey / Fonts / Nyatanga - Central defensive cover

Jamie Mc / Fonts / Nyatanga - Left back cover

Skuse / Cisse and Marvin for defensive Midfield

LJ + New man for creative midfield (I hope this is Buzasky)

Not looking a bad mix there.. lots of cover and ability..

Hi ed, happy new year. Now there are strong rumours that now that Spurs and Bristol City are somewhat best friends what with Caulks and Rose joining us on loan, Caulks has been fantastic for us this season BUT Rose hasn't really impressed me at all. We are looking for a defender and a midfielder. Now a source told me that Jonathan Woodgate will be joining us in the next week or so? The midfielder is David Beckham? Now I know what you are going to say "No Becks won't be going to City!" But you never know in football

Us, Pompey or Real Madrid? Seriously?

O'hara is a decent player but Madrid? What an awful rumour!

Neil Danns will definately be leaving in the January window.

Quite a few clubs are interested although it is widely thought he has narrowed his choice down to QPR and BRISTOL CITY.

The obvious choice would be the London club as they are looking up at promotion this season and Dann, s would not have to relocate.

It is thought that Dann, s could favour a move to BRISTOL CITY though, as he fancys the move to the West Country.

Both clubs could easily match his wage demand.

The new man moving into the hotseat at Palace could influence his decesion, and will move a mountain to keep him at the club!

Looks like albert is off then!

My dad is the head caterer at Cardiff City Stadium so gets to hear all the gossip.

Cardiff City are set to make the following stunning signings to make their last and final push to the prem!

Dave Jones is going to be sacked if they lose the FA Cup game on saturday, with Hughton the number 1 fav to take over.

A shock move to sign Tom Huddlestone on a £4.5 million deal, on a £28,000 a week deal, with Chopra going the other way.

Steven Mouyokolo at Wolves is getting restless at only playing 4 games all season, he is going on a loan deal.

If Dave Jones is still in charge, he wants to make the following signings

Albert Adomah from Bristol City

Ben Davies from Notts County

and

Mike Pollitt from Wigan.

not off football rumours website but Sky Sports News has just mentioned midfielder Chris Burchill of LA Galaxy could be heading to a championship club on loan.

Why would we even look at him? hes only scored 13 goals in his whole career. not the attack minded midfielder we need

It appears that Neil Danns will be leaving Crystal Palace. He's looking for a new challenge and new surroundings having gone as far as he can with Crystal Palace (one step forward, one step back).

Bristol City are extremely keen for his signature and have let him and Palace know that. But he's holding out till later this month to assess all his options. Contrary to popular opinion, he will not go to another London club. Reliable source close to Danns.

Cardiff City are lining up a bid for Bristol City's midfield dynamo Alex Russell after he played a starring role, which included scoring the 2nd goal, in The Robins 3-0 win over The Bluebirds on New Years Day. A fee of 500k has been rumoured.

-----------------------------------------------

Thanks to the more informed person who confirmed:

Alex Russell has just signed for Yeovil from Bath City. He was released by Bristol City 3 seasons ago.

------------------------------------------------

Can we assume the subject of the initial post is in fact Lee Johnson? can't see that either. i smell gas!

To the person who wrote this:

"Millen is also looking to sign southampton full back dan harding for a fee around 500k"

What source? as Harding is one of the fans favourites and a quality at LB for us, i find it hard to believe he will go for a mere 500k when that sort of money isn't even needed for us. .

---------------------------------------

Since when was Harding a 'Fan favourite' exactly? Pretty much every Saints' fan prefers Ryan Dickson, Who is younger, faster, more skillfull, has a better cross, is a better tackler, can shoot ON TARGET, and has better positional play. Harding would not cope in the Championship, It's as simple as that. Give us 500k for him and I'd snap your hand off in a jiffy.
