redcherryberry
Anyone see the recent qpr film when the chairman left it to warlock to sortost things out. Perhaps SL will leave things to del to be stronger and sort things out like player contracts and choice of players. Choice of players should be the managers decision anyway....... bcfcchris2016
How old is Jon Lansdown anyway, be would be the youngest chairman in the football league If he did have that job role. Would he be younger then Darragh MacAnthony when he first became Peterborough chairman
cider hoss rules
whoever is the manager, chairman, even the tealady for all it matters, if we play at Ashton Gate or Ashton Vale or elsewhere, I support Bristol City - that is the one part that will never change. bcfcnick
Also perhaps Colin Sexstone having a roll elsewhere? You've heard the rumour too then, demoted to burger van assistant.
Kingswood Robin
64 is a bit young to retire these days isn't it ? Roy Hodgson is 64 isn't he and he's decided to take on something less stressful! What about our friend Colin, he must be around 64. I'm sure he'll let us all know during a post match interview. .

The Red Planet
I am beginning to think I am wasting my time reading all the speculation and gossip on here - especially out of season. Oh, I forgot, that's what otib is all about ! Personally I think CS has done a steady, reliable job as Chief Exec and then Chairman - if a bit dull and boring at times. If all this is rubbish ( as I suspect) then I expect him to stay on until (at least) when the new stadium is finally built and operational. I think he has been so deeply involved in that project that he won't walk away at this stage.
Jordan Tansley
Here we go again, the annual end of season bad news starts already, nothing surprises me with this club anymore... expect another relegation battle, im out. eric04
Truth is Steve has still been running things from afar and making all the decisions. Colin became nothing more than his pen pusher. Not surprising he is therefore moving on. Steve is not coming back though.
Swede
If Jon Lansdown is anything as good as Steve, we will be in for a promising future. Here's one saying, "Don't count your chickens. . ." Followed by another, "Sons in business. . . "

DT The Optimist
Simple facts:-. Steve Lansdown is a tax exile living in the Channel Islands. He is only allowed in the UK so many days of the year or HMRC will take a huge chunk of his fortune. That is why he is not chairman as he cannot really combine all that with being such an exile. We all know Sexton was really his frontman. Thank the lord for his involvement in the club or I dread to think where we would be ! he is Bristol City through and through, and one hell of a businessman. Favourite would be his son to take the reins and the dynasty continues
