Yes Heynckes won his first major honour, but he done it in style. Bayern will be champions of Europe for 3-5 years easily now.

You do not know that.

Mourinho has lost 78 games in 632 with a win percentage of 67.8%

In ten seasons of club management, including an eight-month sabbatical in 2007–08, Mourinho has led his club to win its domestic league seven times, the UEFA Champions League twice and the UEFA Cup once. Since 2002, Mourinho has not gone a full calendar year without winning at least one trophy

Also when you go 150 home games unbeaten you know you're special.

So Porto Chelsea Inter and RM were not already geared up when JM took over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Porto were never geared up to win the champions league.

Chelsea hadn't won the title in 50 years

Inter hadn't won the Champions league in 48 years or something stupid and they've never done a treble.

Real Madrid had been 2nd best to Barcelona for a fair few years

£100 million was spent by Ranieri, if that's not geared up I don't know what is!

Will give you Porto

But Chelsea had already spent Millions get the squad ready

Inter are a huge club who were not a million miles away when he took over

Failed at Madrid ( they wanted the CL) being the biggest club in the world

Still went and done the job, won the league in style with Chelsea. Treble with Inter was magnificent and he broke the Barca dominance for one season reaching 100 points.

His goalscoring needs to improve but all the other parts of his game are good. He played well in both legs versus Madrid.

I think he'll become a very decent player when he's improved his finishing.

Brilliant target man, his play with his back to goal is excellent.

Hernandez is unbelievable too. I'd love him at Liverpool. If he played week in week out he'd romp to the Golden Boot IMO.

Touch of Owen about him.

I agree Jord, Welbeck has a good all round game but is just a bit rash in his finishing. Hernandez is a proper poacher and they would be mad to sell him.

Has he won 2 champions leagues? He hasn't won any.

He hasn't won any near as many major trophies. Mancini as good as Mourinho is a joke.

He won the Prem, won 3 Seria A titles in a row (Inter club record), 5 Coppa Italia finals in a row etc etc.

Won Coppa Italia at Florentina and Lazio with no money. Mourinho couldn't win anything with no money.

I don't think Mancini is better than Mourinho, but just stating facts.

No manager could with trophies without financial backing. Ferguson has spent a bomb, Guardiola spent a fair bit.

Coppa Italia? Since when was that a major trophy.

Winning FA Cups and Coppa Italia's do not make a manager one of the best.

Think about it.

Sorry but I disagree.

They are still major trophies.

So Mourinho only one 2 trophies at Chelsea then?

Guardiola spent a pittance compared to the others. The majority of his squad came through the youth ranks, who were coached by himself.

Lets see

Daniel Alves - 25M

Seydou Keita - 18M

Martin Caceras - 15M

Gerard Pique - 8M

Alexander Hleb - 13M

Henrique - 6M

Ibrahimovic - 46M

Chygrynskiy - 18M

Adriano - 13M

David Villa - 32M

Mascherano - 16M

Alexis Sanches - 26M

Fabregas - 34M

He spent money.

That is a shit load.

Barca always splash out on one or two big purchases. Its the way they have always done it. They have always been massive spenders quality over quantity. Trouble is many failed as they could not play the barca way.

 about 70 million a season. Portland, I think brizzle check mated you :)

If the coppa ilalia is worthless

Its only worth being the Double is it not?

No.

All I am saying, it FA Cup, Coppa Italia etc are major trophies.

Mourinho is a fantastic manager yes, but cannot work without a lot of ££££

Mourinho spent less than Guardiola during both of there years in Spain.

Mourinho didn't spend alot at Inter at all, they didn't have much resources. Quaresma, Muntari, Mancini and Sneijder were his only real expensive players.
