i hate rovers
Very difficult to say Andy. It depends on many different parties of which the Mayor of Tilburg is an important person. Based on the outcome of the meeting (I was not there) chances are getting better and better. It also depends of course on the willingness of the two clubs. I understood that there has been contact already between BCFC and Willem II so it looks good.... From our side the supporters keep telling Willem II how eager we are to have this match. I assume it will be the same with the supporters of BCFC. Although it looks that Willem II is more willing to grant the wishes of supporters than BCFC has done untill now (but I do not know all the inside information of course). check youre messenger.. willem ii
Tomorrow once again a match against a "young team". We play away against Young Ajax. Not many supporters from Willem II will visit this game. We really hate the Young teams and the box for away supporters in the "stadium" is a real prison with seats for 75 supporters.... The leader of the Jupiler League has lost friday so changes for us to get nearer! Next week an away game against the current leader of the Jupiler League. Box for our supporters is already sold out. Guess there will be lots of our supporters in the rest of the stadium. Travelling to this match is not restricted so this match will be a big party (especially the pre party)!!! willem ii
Result of the away game against Young Ajax today: 1-1.... How about dishonest competition: last week the players of Young Ajax had 8 games experience in Ajax I. This week against Willem II the players of Young Ajax had 198 games experience in Ajax 1!!!! The keeper was even the second keeper of the Dutch national team!!!!

willem ii
Matchreport of the game of Willem II last Friday (unfortunately I could not atttend this game): To start it was a game with mixed feelings. Away game against FC Dordrecht who were no. 1 in the Jupiler League and could win a period title (which is € 100.000 and a place in the play offs for promotion) after this match. Sold out away box for our supporters! Great atmosphere during the match. It was a good game and we were very happy with the result: 0-2 win!!!! Although FC Dordrecht had lost the game, they still won the period title since their competition for the title also lost their game. No problem you would think... Two teams and their supporters happy. But unfortunately this was not the case. After the match some "supporters" of Dordrecht climbed over the fenches and attacked our supporters. There were families who ran to the busses to find shelter and to prevent that they were between possible "troubles". Lots of supporters were held in the stadium. Then the Dordrecht "supporters" (there were some Feyenoord supporters between them too) threw bricks towards the busses. Lots of windows of the busses were shattered and one of the children (11 years old) got a huge stone on his head. The police did nothing and the stewards of Dordrecht did not react either. After 15 minutes the police came and ordered the busses to leave. Leaving about 60 Willem II supporters behind in the night. Later the riot police came to surround the Willem II supporters to restore order? One step to much to the left or right and they got a hit.... Yes, after everything had happened they were there to hit the wrong people. After about one hour a bus returned to take the rest of our supporters back home. Adults were scared. You can imagine how the kids felt... (Physically) hurt children who not dared to go to sleep so parents slept with them in their rooms. Even adults who state that they will never go to an away game. It was aweful!!!! If you want to fight as "supporters" pick the right people and do not make innocent people and children part and victim of your "pleasures". Great result and looking pretty good for Willem. Real shame you have those young teams in your league though, think it de-values the division. Looks like it won't happen but theoretically what would happen if Young Twente, Ajax and PSV finished 1st/2nd/3rd?
willem ii
Indeed great result. We are second now in the Jupilerleague with a team that acts as a real team. Attackers are superb! Defence still needs to get better, but they grow each match! The Young teams cannot get a promotion to the Eredivisie (Premier League). So in theory the number 4 can get a direct promotion to the Eredivisie...
willem ii
Once again proven that Willem II is not a cupfighter. Lost in the first match in extra time against a team with only non professionals in it..... 2-1. Thats three in a row.... Still next Friday match at home against FC Eindhoven who is also playing in the top of the Jupiler League!!!
willem ii
Last Friday a match against FC Eindhoven at home. Willem II is on a their way up! We won 3-2 and as a result we are on top of the Jupiler League together with "our friends" of FC Dordrecht. Everything is really close in the top. So one game lost could mean place 6 in the Jupiler League. Next saturday an away game against FC Emmen (place 7) and the away box is sold half already. Here a clip after the game filmed from the Kingside: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c3bFr5rWgT4 At about 1.00 you can hear us sing: "Wij staan bovenaan, ja wij staan bovenaan" Which means: We are on top of the League. Which was the case untill FC Dordrecht played 0-0, who then joined us. At about 1.30 you can hear us sing: "Donny de Groot". He is now playing for FC Eindhoven, but he played for Willem II two years ago and had to leave when Willem II promoted to the Eredivisie: Honour your (former) player!!! willem ii
Due to a vacation from my side, I was not able to give an update on our matches..... So here i am once again. ;-) Two and a half weeks ago an away match in Emmen (6th place) which we unfortunately lost with 1-0. We were the better site, but they managed to find the goal in one of their few attacks... One and a half week ago a home game against De Graafschap who played eredivisie (premier league) a couple of years ago too. 0-0 draw... Last sunday we had an away game against Achilles '29 a partly amature club who were allowed to play in the Jupiler League. Willem II was the stronger team but at half time it was 1-1 due to the referee who was aweful and gave a penalty for no reason. The second half Willem II did what they should do: score a lot of goals with an end result of 1-5. there were some beautiful goals of Tilburgs number 9 Ruud Boymans which can be seen here: http://www.jupilerleague.nl/video/ Willem II is playing in black and the 1-2 and 1-3 are very nice! After the two disappointing matches a clear win for Willem II who is still number 2 in the Jupiler League, tracing the number one with a two points difference. Next Friday a home game against MVV (Maastricht). Lets hope Willem II stays in the winning mood!!!!

willem ii
So last Friday the home match against MVV (Maastricht). As usual teams who are coming to Tilburg go for a draw and hope to counter to score a goal. And for the second time in a row the visiting club had succes. Willem II was far better than MVV and I think MVV had one shot at goal. Even in the last 20 minutes when Willem II played with 10 players due to a doubtful second yellow card for one of our players, Willem II was the better team with more chances to score.... End result: 0-0 Here a link with the summary of the game (unfortunately you need to register at the site to view it): http://www.jupilerleague.nl/video/1012368.php Next friday an away game against Telstar! willem ii
Last Friday away match against Telstar (place 14 in the Jupiler League). Awful game of Willem II and we lost 3-1. That's all I want to say about this game, still frustrated about the way Willem II played with no spirit... Willem II is now 5th in the Jupiler League with 7 points difference with number 1. Next friday home match against Almere City (place 19 out of 20). Lets hope that the players have at least more spirit!!!

willem ii
Finally, a home game won last Friday against Almere City (nr. 18). After heavy raining the pitch was very wet, what could be a disadvantage for Willem II, but in the end it was an easy win against a weak opponent. Endresult 5-0 in a match in which Willem II did not played as well as they could... Willem II is now nr. 4 in the Jupiler League, still seven points behind nr. 1 FC Dordrecht. Next week Monday an away game against Helmond Sport, nr. 6 in the Jupiler League.

dezgimed
Good win tonight for our Dutch boys. 4-1 at Helmond, against 10 men for most the game. Was 1-1 at one point. Back on the heels of Dortrecht who are starting to pull away. They had a mental game against Eindhoven at the weekend.
willem ii
Dezgimed is right! Nice victory over Helmond Sport on monday with 1-4. As a result Willem II is now joined 2nd in the Jupiler League, 7 points behind nr. 1 FC Dordrecht. willem ii
After the lossed game against Young FC Twente last Friday FC Oss was our opponent. An away game against the bottom team of the Jupiler League. Easy you could say, but it wasn't. In the fist half we got in the lead 0-1 and at half time it should have been already 0-3. Two balls on the bar and one ball saved by by our defender out of an empty goal, so we were quite Lucky! Endresult a 0-1 win!!!! A Lucky win, but still a win. With competing teams losing or draw, we are now 3rd with the same number of points as number 2 in the Jupiler League and 8 points behind number 1 FC Dordrecht. This Friday a match at home against Fortuna Sittard number 14 in the Jupiler League, but still a strong opponent since we lost our away game against them with 3-1... Let's go for the win and I hope the pre and after party will be one to remember for a long time too!!!! ;-)
