Only just spotted this thread, so I'll announce my lateness to this party by shouting "GO BENGALS".

Woody - quit with you're Who Dat rubbish you polrumptious daffock! Who Dey is a Bengals chant.

After years in the doldrums, Cincy are looking good. 2 consecutive play-off years and surely a Divisional title this year.

Dalton has to step up a gear though, but we've put more around him this year rather than just the prolific AJ Green. Hopefully Sanu will be fit to play as the 2nd WR, with Gresham (needs to prove a lot) and 1st round draftee Tyler Eifert offering a double Tight End threat.

We've also got more of a running game than the one-paced efforts of the past, Gio Bernard in to complement the Law Firm.

Defensively we're excellent. A great D-Line. A secondary that should see last years 1st rounder Dre Kirkpatrick fit, so that should improve, and the main man Vontaze Burfict settling into his 2nd season at linebacker.

I predict great things for my boys this year.

Edit - Don't forget the Eastern Block!!! Margus Hunt to block 8 field goals/extra points this season!

Bengals are our first game of the season at Soldier Field so hoping for a good start but good luck after that ;)

Think you'll take the division in all honesty.

Bit late to this thread but if you take the time to get into this sport, you'll see that beneath all the gloss, spectacle and commercialism lies a highly tactical, physical game. Not surprised to see nobody has mentioned my team, the Philadelphia Eagles. However, with a new coaching team and a decent preseason, they could surprise a few this year. Especially if Michael Vick can stay in form, and fit!

The East still goes through New England. Losing Keller was a HUGE blow to Miami (my team). We should be much improved and are an outside shot for making the playoffs, but a few too many questions to be shouting down NE just yet. Until Brady retires, expect them to continue winning.

But, NYJ could be in for a top 3 draft pick again next year! <3 Sanchez! ;-)

I think our teams have two of the best putdown nicknames going Harry - Aints and Bungels!

Would love to see your lot win the division this year, have a chance too I think

I don't know we have a great putdown nickname by our NFC North rivals of Duh Bearz.. play on words from DA BEARS. The 0-16ers, Viqueens and especially the Cheeseheads will be disappointed when we take the division this year :)

Oh and go anyone who plays the 49ers.. hate them the most.

Big win for Denver then. I’m a Patriots so reading that Welker bagged a couple of TD’s was not pleasant. He’ll be a big miss for NE this year.

Does anyone on here support the 49ers or Jaguars or just fancy going to one of the Wembley games ? I have some tickets (up to 4) for the game on Sunday 27th of October but unfortunately we can’t go anymore. They’re in block 516, row 16. Face value is £28. If anyone is interested just send me a PM.

I also have tickets for the Vikings-Steelers game later this month but I’ll still be going along to that one. Have previously been to NBA and MLB games when on holiday in America so am really looking forward to seeing some NFL live.

Bears 24 Bengals 21 :)

Watched the game on NFL Game Pass, nerves have been shredded but.... DA BEARS!!

I don't have Game Pass, but did manage to get a Live Stream.

Bengals really threw that one away and your Bears didn't really have to work too hard to win it.

Stupid personal foul just before half-time from the punt, to give you field position for the 3 points that ended up winning it.

Should have actually ran the clock down to half time prior to that anyway - poor game management.

Dumbass defensive coach having to use 2 time-outs in 2 plays in the 4th quarter for having 12 men on the field.

Then as a nail in the coffin, we get the ball turned over with just under a minute left (so gave ourselves a chance), only for Mauluga to balls up and cause another personal foul.

Shocking display from the Bengals - not in terms of actual play, but decision making and penalties.

Bears did ok. Marshall caught some crucial ones, as did Martellus Bennett. Ultimately though, the Bungles beat themselves tonight!!

I thought we were very poor 1st half and half of the 3rd quarter, especially the D who were the uncharacteristically poor tonight but yeah the Bengals were totally undisciplined throughout. The Cutler/Marshall show is just awesome when it gets going and Forte played pretty well despite not being 100% fit so happy with the Offence in general.

I had this game down as a defeat so pretty happy with the win, I predicted 11-5 for us this season and the Bengals was one of the tougher games on our schedule. Still at least no one in your division won this week, season starts for the AFC North next week ;)
