Pezo
I see us playing in any kind of blue as the same as Cardiff playing in any other colour than blue. I wouldn't be happy if it was included in any of our kits in any shade.
REDOXO
Didn't we play in blue in our one and only FA Cup final appearance? Yes we did! If the board want to go for Blue away that might be the way to get it done...A modernised replica of the 1909 final kit!....should sell well too!....In fact why dont they sell the 1909 final kit unmodernised in the club shop!? It wouldn't be that, though. It would be a reversal of Bristol rugby's home kit, with the rugby lot having red as their change strip.

pongo88
As someone mentioned, Toffs do a version, but it doesn't look that authentic to me...http://www.toffs.com/bristol-city-1909-fa-cup-final-retro-football-shirtBy the time all the modern logos and advertising went onto the shirt it would look even less authentic. (I've got no objections to City's away kit looking like Bristol Rugby's kit - i e dark blue and white hoops with dark blue shorts. It would be different from a lot of the standard kits)
The Right Honourable Les Q
If people are upset about something as trivial as that, they should simply grow up. . Growing up is far from simple, imho. Where and what would pro football be without grown boys and girls getting upset over trivial nonsense? It would be rugby union, imho. I don't see that a dark blue away kit would affect any sales at all. I tend to agree but I don't share your view that a blue kit would sell just as well as a white or black one. Don't see the value in changing the away jersey anyway really. Does it matter if Bristol Rugby don't share their colours with us? I don't think that it does. EstoniaTallinnRed
Just checked some old photos, Cheese. Looks like black and white to me, or possibly grey (? Wouldn't it look black and white or possibly grey because they only had black and white photography in those days, therefore blue or even red would look black. Just saying! If we have their home kit as our away, and they have our home kit as the away, it becomes like two clubs becoming one. They must remain separate so no same kits
