Esmond Million's Bung
Been offered the gas job, wouldn't you do that to join a massive club, the Barcelona/manu of the Bananarama conference pear league?

Cider red
Wanted control of transfers and they wouldn't give him it apparently. Don't blame him, as a manager you would want to bring in your players not someone elses. Hopefully Palarse will be relegated with a bang this year anyway, horrible club. IdliketoRogerMoore
As much as I don't like him for obvious reasons he's a decent manager (don't realy appreciate his style either) so he shouldn't be out of work long!

Hopefully Palarse will be relegated with a bang this year anyway, horrible club.If this is true he's made the right decision and the chairman / board are mad. Although many City fans hate him, the fact is that last season he managed to pull Palace from almost certain relegation to safety. If you get a manager who does this, he should be given support by the board. Palace probably have delusions of grandeur and will be relegated as a result. And Its Smith
I believe it wasn't necessarily control as I think he had that but the club failed to sign Caulker, Sigurdsson or Michu. Feel for Martin Kelly who only signed today.

22A
The 11.00pm news stated Pulis had left Palace "by mutual consent" after crisis talks between him and the owner. As others have posted; seems so odd / daft to do this two days before the start of the season. Gillies Downs Leeds
the story i heard on Talksport earlier was that the owner said he could have Zaha back on loan but nobody else. Pulis was not interested in Zaha but wanted to bring someone else in but Parrish refused.
Aaron-Bcfc
Palace will seriously struggle now, hopefully the both of us will be back in the Championship by the 15/16 season so we can give them another mauling at Ashton Gate

glynriley
Millen vs Aresnal.. good luck Palace! Don't think Pulis leaving will have too much effect on this game. They would have been preparing for it for a while. What happens after is a different story though. David Moyes anyone?
SecretSam
Love this quote from the orange one: Former Palace chairman Simon Jordan told Talksport that managers "have to do as they're told" Err, no, Simon, managers are there to manage - not to be ordered around. You respect their superior knowledge and judgement in matters where they clearly know more than you - that's why you don't run the team. But if he wouldn't fall into line with the Director of Football model, then fair enough - he goes. It shames me to say it, but over the last few months my respect for him - previously an infinite level below zero - has increased, as he's an eloquent (if opinionated) pundit and has worked wonders at Palarse. And they did sign Hangelaaaaaand and Kelly, who are both pretty decent. Oh, and Frazier Campbell - who's not Prem standard, frankly.
