Vince might be a bit pissed off after his innings the other day.

Should have done more with his other opportunities, other players have more right to feel aggrieved. Pope & Foakes for example, without his double ton Vince has had a poor start to the season. Buttler hasn't played red ball cricket regularly in an age, sends a great message to our wicket keepers and bastmen.

Agreed. In spite of that, I'm actually happy to see Jos back in and think that it could somehow work out for him this time. No idea why given his lack of red ball cricket but my predictions are usually shite anyway.

I think we should use him in a similar way the ODI team has, have him floating in the order for a period where we're on top and use him to try and get at the opposition. Obviously if conditions and situations aren't conducive then he'll slot in and have to try and knuckle down.

An excellent start, 59 for 6 now, and could probably only be bettered by the wonderful, charming Gareth Batty falling on to his own wicket first ball - assuming he actually gets a bat as, this being Somerset, the match is poised perfectly for a record-breaking stand by the younger Curran and Ricki Clarke, both of whom have troubled Somerset in the past.

For the info of @phantom, young Peter Treeeego was 1 for 0 off three overs (plus a run-out) when I started this post - he has now conceded a run off the last ball of his third over.

Good to see, he's been playing club cricket for Weston up to now - Glamorgan home this Sunday. . .

Plus a few games for Somerset Seconds.

You mentioned in a previous post that he was a bit 'non-plussed' at not being picked for the First Class games.

If he is dropped for Sunday's match, unlikely, I know, he will no doubt be furious - 2 for 9 now, off 7 overs with an average of 1.28!

84 for 8 as I type.
