PHILINFRANCE
Decisions, Decisions. Notwithstanding the fact they are currently off for rain, do Somerset try and bowl Hampshire out and go for the win, or try and leave them in and hold on for a draw? PHILINFRANCE
So, a brave, foolhardy or simply all-knowing declaration from Hampshire? 161 required from 31 overs. Tres opening with Steve Davies - and now out for 4. Hose out w/o scoring. 4 for 2 . Edited June 29, 2017 by PHILINFRANCE

Northern Red
Essex win with 3 minutes to spare, Harmer finished with 9. Hope they win the title if my lot don't (we won't), rather them than Surrey or Yorkshire.

Midred
What's happened to Somerset the last few seasons? They were a bit like this during the first half of last season and then nearly won the championship. Is it the standard of players, the captain or dare I say the management? Super
I think the bowlers have done a decent job. They have put us in a good position in most games only for the batsmen to let them down.
Midred
Thanks Tomarse. It's a bit like city, looking back to the glory days of the 70s when we had a a good core team blessed with a few stars. Supporting from afar I never know whether to look,on the SCCC website or not, how much grief do I need? Again a bit like watching City! I preferred the days back then when you at least knew that the cricket team was playing every week and depending on the day, which competition they were playing in. Oh bugger, I'm getting old! Robbored
Good news for those who don't have Sky. I can't imagine the BBC will be able to equal let alone overtake the top quality Sky coverage.
MichaelRobartes
A positive move but a shame it's only T20. Hopefully BT will be able to trump Sly next time. I'm looking forward to being able to watch the Ashes at home.

Yes, BT Sport have the rights to all cricket played in Australia including the forthcoming Ashes series.
