Gazred
Interesting they sign him on the day they got rid or Taarabt. Similar players in a way. Does anyone think JET is an improved player since he joined us? Did he add anything to his game?

mcbcfc
It's a bit like seeing an ex you're not quite over yet snogging another bloke. Maybe once we'd made a few signings or the pre-season fixtures had started but at the moment it's too soon man, too soon! But seriously not too many more players over the past 20 years of watching the city have had the footballing ability of JET. I'm sure he'll excite & infuriate in equal measures at QPR & I wish him well except when he's playing us!
Robbored
Good luck to JET. Like many City fans I was truly amazed by some his skills but at the same time frustrated by his apparent lack of effort around the pitch. He became a marmite player for us fans. pongo88
Similar players in a way. Does anyone think JET is an improved player since he joined us? Did he add anything to his game? When he played with Smith he formed a good partnership and proved he could adapt to a different style - i e Cott's - of play. Unfortunately he never quite overcame the lack of consistency problem. I always thought he never really used his pace to full effect. When he wanted, he could accelerate and leave defenders standing, but there were often long period in a game when he seemed to find it difficult to move faster than walking pace. Major Isewater
I'm sure he's happy to have signed for a massive club. That he did n't have to think twice when he knew that they were in for him and he looks forward to showing the fans what he can do ! Taylor10
All the very best JET. Still absolutely gutted but really hope he goes on to do well. I would be lying if I said I hope this doesn't come back to bite us on the ass, simply because I hope he goes on to have a great career. I will follow his career with interest. I am intrigued to see if he holds down a regular place at QPR and how he does at championship level. Good luck JET.

wheatus59
Good luck Jet , he may have been infuriating at times but he could turn a game in seconds which is the type of player who excites fans , I will miss him and feel we will rue the day we let him go . QPR fans would do well to take note. He will entertain that's for sure. He's scored some memorable goals for us. You could easily put together a top 10 of goal of the month contenders. Leveller
Interesting they sign him on the day they got rid or Taarabt. Agree - out of the frying pan & into the fire for them I think. Get rid of Taraabt & sign poor mans Taraabt in his place. Both talented but massively frustrating.

PHILINFRANCE
But QPR have something of a history for signing 'flair' players - Bowles, Don (forget his surname) and several others whose names I forget also. Mainly 1970's. There were loads of them, honestly....
ten minutes of rough
QPR fans reacting like they've signed Messi. Like to see their reactions two months in. ten minutes of rough
QPR building a decent league 1 side there!! Tell me how you thing JET will strengthen them? I loved the bloke but he is not good enough to risk in 90 minutes, hope he does OK, but I won't hold my breath.
