I hate when people have this attitude, of course people are going to see this as a bad omen, we've looked outclassed in almost every area of the pitch and showed no signs of being able to adapt when outplayed. I don't think this formation will work in this league, not without some very impressive central midfielders, we've got nothing in the middle. And probably the only area of the team that we cannot replace like for like injured. Fielding last time he messed up in the opening game lost his confidence completely... I hope he picks himself up quickly. All the makings of a bad start to the season. We look toothless up top. Wibraham does not seem to have confidence in his strike partners and spent the whole game so far heading the ball back into midfield. Doesn't bode well on first appearances.
