Andy082005
One ****** game. Get a grip. I have a firm grip. Just being realistic. We haven't strengthened and today, it sounds like we have been totally schooled 1 Quote Link to comment
BobBobSuperBob
How quickly we realise the jump in quality between the divisions and adapt (those up to the task) will define our season Sounds like a reality check Afraid I've never seen enough in Pack to think he may cut it in Championship - looked 'ok' in a very good side at tail end of L1 It won't be the defeat that defines us but how we learn from them ( and quickly) MK seem to have got to grips with it !! 1 Quote Link to comment

Betelgeuse
At least we're still unbeaten at home! 2 Quote Link to comment
old_eastender
We have not been that bad, just could not get Wilbs/ Kodger into the game, in hindsight would have been better with one up front and extra man in midfield I think. Quote Link to comment
TRL
No surprises here. Small squad. Nothing on the bench really to change the game when chasing it. And probably the only area of the team that we cannot replace like for like injured. Fielding last time he messed up in the opening game lost his confidence completely... I hope he picks himself up quickly. All the makings of a bad start to the season. We look toothless up top. Wibraham does not seem to have confidence in his strike partners and spent the whole game so far heading the ball back into midfield. Doesn't bode well on first appearances. A bit of work needed on the training field me thinks Edited August 8, 2015 by TRL Quote Link to comment
EmersonsRed
Wow, we're forgetting last season a bit quickly on here.... So? He made a moronic mistake - at that moment he was a ******* moron. Where did I say he was always a ******* moron? In other news, the Sheffield Wednesday fans are taking the absolute piss out of us. Quote Link to comment
AirlieBeachRed
We don't look good enough on this performance. Quote Link to comment
Super
Given the disaster in the transfer market not sure this has come as a shock. Need another 3 or 4 in by the end of the month for sure. 1 Quote Link to comment
nebristolred
Probably worth mentioning that Sheffield Weds have been very decent. It's not as if they're only dominating through our own incompetence. Quote Link to comment
aa_bcfc
FFS get a grip. First game of the season. Fine lines, off the line at one end for 1-1 and straight up the other end and score. Pack could not foul or would have been sent off. Fielding needed to go for it and just failed to get a touch. 2 Quote Link to comment
Fordy62
Let's be honest. It's not the romantic return to the championship we all desired, but it isn't quite the end of the world that some are making out. Sheffield Wednesday are a decent outfit and we're away to them. Hardly an away banker. Have faith. It'll come good. 4 Quote Link to comment

CotswoldRed
In other news, the Sheffield Wednesday fans are taking the absolute piss out of us. We win. They still have to live in Sheffield. Quote Link to comment

Not sure what game you're watching but we've been awful in general, in every area of the pitch we've been second best. Quote Link to comment
JoeAman08
I'll give it a few games but anyone thinking our squad didn't need competition for places watch this game. Everyone looks a step below everyone on SW. Can definitely turn it around and I'm sure we will sharpen but most have been poor today. Get used to this because it's the "new" championship. Higher fees, higher wages and much better players. This is what can happen when you don't get players in early and don't want to compete with wages and fees. Will have to spend to be competitive. Can be smart spending but to get quality you'll have to pay for it which we have been willing to do yet. Quote Link to comment
Super
I hate when people have this attitude, of course people are going to see this as a bad omen, we've looked outclassed in almost every area of the pitch and showed no signs of being able to adapt when outplayed. I don't think this formation will work in this league, not without some very impressive central midfielders, we've got nothing in the middle. Based on one game. Jeez our fans.. 1 Quote Link to comment
TheCulturalBomb
We're playing against Wednesday though not Hull or Burnley. This should be a good indication of where our players are at, the performance has been very poor, across the board. Quote Link to comment

Kingswoodactor
Maybe we should calm down a bit as perhaps we could be playing a side that will be top 8 this season? Been impressed with Wednesday today, and I think they'll have a decent season. Edited August 8, 2015 by Kingswoodactor 2 Quote Link to comment
Selred
Think loosing Bryan has really hindered us. His presence going forward and whipping balls in was giving Wedneday something to think about. Without him we've lost a key aspect to our attacking play. Quote Link to comment
Manon
Oh well no unbeaten run this time then! We are smelling some very strong coffee today. wakey wakey time. Quote Link to comment
joe jordans teeth
That's enough for us,long drive home on the minibus now, cider aplenty, going to be a long hard season which we all knew,we were pretty poor tbh Quote Link to comment
BigTone
Without going through every post I am guessing we are not doing so well. Score ? Quote Link to comment

old_eastender
Burns has done well since coming on.. surprised how often Luke has lost the ball tbh. Agard about to come on... Quote Link to comment
JoeAman08
Based on one game. Jeez our fans.. One game? Yes but I've never seen them play this poorly(this main group). Hopefully this serves as a wake up to everyone that it's going to take a lot more this season to be even average. We are capable but this is going to be the kinds of team we play every week. Got to sharpen and toughen up 1 Quote Link to comment

Mickey Bells left foot
sheffield wednesday away is a tad different than rotherham away reckon rotherham will be relegated this season Quote Link to comment
Northern Red
I feel ****ing suicidal reading this drivel. It's absolutely pathetic isn't it? We're deservedly losing but I sense that some are making up for the moaning they didn't have the opportunity to do so much last season. 2 Quote Link to comment
