With respect...it's like sticking a plaster over a wound that won't go away. We need to cure the problem, not keep sticking plasters over it.

The issue is not the 'Clubs failure'... the failure is a social issue... a few idiots who fail to see the bigger picture.

Wanting to kick the shit out of someone, because they dare celebrate a goal, have a bit of banter and dare 'taunt'.

How about a bit of self control...banter back without violence?

Do these away fans go back to their tables in hospitality a goal up, and fear being beat up at their tables...No.

They sit with other City fans and have a bit of banter and a laugh.

So why can't people do the same in the stands?

I'm all for introducing away fans like this into areas that are 'officially home'.

If anyone dare abuse them and confront them physically...then throw them out. We don't need that mentality anymore. Get rid of the dross.

The sooner we can get rid of the idiots...the sooner the authorities will start to allow less strict rules.

I'd love to see an area of the ground introduced, where fans of both sets of supporters can sit together...peacefully.

It happens at certain clubs abroad.

Anyone that causes a problem...out...throw them out with a ban.

The sooner the better...get rid of the idiots...

Lets start having a bit of self control and behaving like human beings....not animals.

Lets sit together knowing we don't have to blame the club or stewards or Police for our own or someone else's actions.

Perhaps one day...we can all stand singing and chanting, having some banter with other fans, whilst having a beer whilst knowing someone isn't going to 'lose it' because they can't control their emotions over a game of football.

It happens at Fulham regularly. Through work I've been lucky enough to know someone who can get free tickets for their games and I went to watch a couple of games when they were in the Prem. on both occasions we were sat in the so called neutrals area and on both occasions there were both home and away fans mixed in together, as there was when City went there last season. To be honest the City game was the first time I've been there when they actually had the netting over the seats seperating the away fans from the 'neutrals' area so I was quite surprised to see it.

It is a shame it doesn't happen more, I found the reaction of some of our fans on Sat an absolute embarrassment

You should see the vid of the west country Danny Dyers on the csf thread for a whole new level of Embarrassment...

Yes....the Fulham 'neutral' area is a great idea.

Maybe I am on my own, but as someone who has had to sit in the home end at more than one City away match, it seems heavy handed treatment on someone who might simply have been planning to come along to the game, keep themselves to themselves, watch the match, and get out without causing bother.

Then again he may have been planning to come and cause a scene. You can't tell either way and it's better for City to be cautious about it otherwise it could be 100% of home games this season with some sort of incident about this.

If you're buying a ticket in the home end, it's better not to plaster how easy it is to buy online and that you've got one on your public Twitter account. I saw this tweet by searching "Bristol City" - not the brightest way for him to have gone about it.

utter rubbish if you think you can go in the Newcastle home end and cheer/jump/scream in joy when/if we score with no aggro coming your way,you sir need to have your brain read by a professional doctor

Thanks for your constructive comment on this thread.

Could you perhaps recommend a professional Doctor to me please?

In return I'll be more than happy to help you with constructing a coherent, reasoned post.

I don't need your help with anything buddy,I think I add constructive posts quite well, and I was only replying to your post about you obviously being so tough your gonna stand up and do your thing in the away end at Newcastle.

i would wager you'd do no such thing, been in plenty of away ends back in the day but the ones that do don't usually spout about it and be the billybigbollox hard man like yourself

i hear they are selling mrmuscle  in lidles half price,go get some and give yourself a squirt

yours truly

I seriously suggest that you read the thread and in particular my previous posts in it....

Or do you need my help reading to you too?

I guess you're another misguided individual whom I need to feel embarrassed about being a fellow supporter.

All the best.

Absolute ton of villa fans in the south/west corner but sensible and didn't celebrate. The only way you knew was they were all motionless when we scored and most left when we scored the third!

Oh except for one. Who wore a villa scarf and was surprised when he was escorted out after 10 minutes

Today another Hospitality member was getting angry fans all in his face - they seriously need to put them in front of / to the left of the HL and not in the SS....

The club don't need to do anything, the mentally subnormal on both sides need to learn how to behave.
