Reminded me a little of Ballboy.

Spent a good hour listening to their stuff last night via youtube...they have some great material. Typical they played Bristol last month...would have been good to watch.

Love it when you 'discover' a band that have a decent back catalogue. Funnily all my mates knew about them

Last time this happened was with a band called Eskimo Joe when I was visiting Oz...you may have heard of them, but not many in Britain have it seems. 10 years old now :-(

Same for me in recent times. The Black Angels provided the theme to the first series of True Detective, (Young Men Dead) I thought I had made a huge discovery, I was only 8 years behind the times as the track was the first one on their very first album in 2006. The same with The New Pornographers, I caught up with them around Brills Bruisers which turned out to be their 6th album, 15 years after their first!

That's the great thing about music mate...you can always go backward and find 'new' material to enjoy.

Plus you can find music that you weren't really into...did this with a band a few years back and have seen them in Bristol a couple times...now getting bigger by the minute it seems, due to their music being used on adverts...Phantogram...
