Never been easy to park there??

Park in the huge car park about half a mile from the ground on the racecourse road. Always space in there.

G'day folks!

(I've come over all Aussie... don't mind me)

It's the Johnson Cup today and current holder is young pretender LJ whilst Daddy dearest watches his little boy bask in the glory of a win in this prestigious grudge match.

Obviously, we all know GJ used to hold the family bragging rights round the dinner table in Portishead when his Yeovil team walloped LJ's Oldham 4-0 back in 2014.

Johnson Snr hasn't had the easiest of seasons after his heart op and then being readmitted with his leg issue so he'll be looking forward to tonight's game with relish. To put one past the whippersnapper would show an old dog can still do tricks.

Also LJ has had a rocky trip from the start of last season until now. His old man's medical issues not withstanding, Junior has had his head on the block more times than Cathy Barry has nailed fellas. Somehow though, the guillotine never fell and LJ lived to tell the tale. After a pretty successful pre-season and jolly in Tenerife, he'll also be looking to show his old man that youth is sometimes better than experience.

Mr Flint has once again been the subject of rumour since he was omitted from Saturday's friendly against the Tenerife locals. And just last night, a journo on the wind up on Twitter spouted the usual "Leeds have made a bid" bollocks. Note to journos reading this; it's getting fewking boring now... at least change the subjects and clubs involved in these rumours, up a bit...

On to tonight, Tammy mk2 aka Bobby Reid to finally get that hat-trick. Famara with a tap in. 4-1 to City and LJ retains the crown.

Come on you purples!

Don't think it's working?

Harsh but true. @Bristol Rob - your new phone definitively isn't working as there is nothing to see in the post.

I had it in mode 9 1/2 the 'Bobby' setting. It was ghosting around, promising a lot but yet to deliver on a consistent basis.

I'm in 'Korey' mode now, should improve things a bit.

Nothing to add, but I have just got a new phone and wanted to try it out.

As you were.

New phone. New shit house for the cat.

Someone's won the lotto on the quiet...

Hopefully that team suggests Flint is hanging around.

Think it tells us a few other things too:

With Frankie having a well deserved rest Lucic is in front of O'Leary (which suggests he'll be on the bench v Barnsley if no other keeper joins).

Vyner is ahead of Moore.

Engvall will be in the squad unless we get another forward in.

Pretty sure someone there will work out who the trialist is before too long..

Apparently this is an audition for Vyner to be joining Cheltenham though that doesn't make sense to me.

Don't listen                mate. It's just parts of                      posting                                               be invisible.

I reckon if                                                     and back on again.   Then                                                                              maybe  OK.

             luck.                                                                                            Or

back to the shop.

This is the 6'3 black defensive midfielder Ince. Trust me....

It's just a cunning disguise. Nobody will ever guess it's him

Lucic was already ahead of O'Leary last season, so I assume he still is. I don't think Vyner is ahead of Moore though. Moore will probably either play 45 at right back, or centre back.

We'll find out on Saturday week.

O'Leary was on the bench for our last league game..

Lucic was on loan. Either way, I see both going out on loan this season. Fielding will be back up imo.

He was sent back before then because he never managed a single appearance whilst in Denmark.

May not have been eligible because of the loan of course.

No Frankie - must be off to Leeds.

And he's one of the demoralised and desperate to leave bunch.

Apparently (sorry - allegedly) there are only 3 who want to be here - and LJ is one of them.

LJ, Reid (wouldn't get a game elsewhere) and Downsy?

Full strength Cardiff losing at Shrewsbury and Derby losing at Northampton..

It does make me feel better when I see this. Our hardest game so far on paper has been what Yeovil? Maybe im being far too negative and not normally reflective in pre season but i would have liked to have seen us play some stronger sides on paper but i suppose twente is a good test.

Can't tell you mate, there would be a meltdown on here.

If only you knew..

Where have I heard that before?!

Pretty poor stuff should be winning. Morrell looks tidy no worries if Leeds are watching flint tonight.

Scrappy start to the game. City looked more in control as the half wore on. Best chance for O'dowda who hit the bar following a mazy left to right run. Stopped giving the ball away at the back as often which is good...

Diedhou and engvall not had much in the way of clear cut chances. Brownhill looked best so far to me. Also encouraging signs on left from Kelly.

HT 0-0.  Of the back 4, only Kelly came across with any credit, he looks composed on the ball.

I'd like to see more of Engvall in 2nd half, he laid off a chance for Farmer.

Scappy game so far although we occasionally string a good move together. O'Dowda's fabulous run was the highlight of the half
