You're forgetting that every time we score (11 so far) it is lucky.

Hasnt patterson spent most of his career playing wide? Although from the radio tonight I swear almost every time I heard his name it was quickly followed by a Brentford player having the ball. I like Brownhill as a player and would have him as either backup or a replacement for Pack, but I would prefer Elliason on the wing.

Do you expect us to win every game  ? because that's the way you and others react. We've spent roughly the going rate in the championship for a mid table finish. It's one of the the most competitive leagues in Europe but some seem to think we have a divine right to win at a canter every week. it's bizarre thinking , it really is

Plymouth aside, 9 changes lots of kids league 1 side...   we lost Saturday, lost the 2nd half against an awful Barnsley and tonight hardly got a kick. Call us disloyal idiots etc etc   ..there is a chance we might struggle again you know

FFS I answered a question to a post defending LJ about playing Brownhill and Patterson out of position, my point is he signed them and how can it be good for the development of the player and the team?, really what is the problem with that?, surely at some stage we need to start signing players to play in specialist positions and not expect at championship level to play players out of position.

Battered Barnsley.

Battered a weakened Plymouth side while making a number of changes ourselves (at least 2 debutants)

Battered Brum first half

Poor against Brum second half

Poor tonight.

Now for some extremely easy maths.

2 good performances, plus 1 good half = 2.5 good performances.

1 bad performance, plus 1 bad half = 1.5 bad performances.

So, that is more good than bad.

Are there some concerns? Yes.

Can I say that without acting like a 3 year old and stating relegation is assured because of a bad performance (where we didnt even lose)? Yes.

If you think we have bought crap players then just say so but don't make it out to be some sort of financial mistake that you have to share.

Because I along with others have given our reasons for Brentford clearly not being a poor side and you've just come up with well its my opinion, which is about the worst argument anyone can make about anything, and usually because it a load of baseless drivel.
