I’ve also got a silly question.

Looking at the below photo, it seems like Joe has the “Mansion Bet” logo on his shirt, as do others, but some are logo-less.

Is it because some can’t wear betting logos due to age, is it because only the first team squad have the logos on shirts and we’re not rotating kits due to Covid, or is it a Spurs cup final thing?

Just looked really bizarre!

Some of the players got 20/1 that half the team wouldn’t wear sponsors logos on their shirts. :)

Apologies for the stupid question but what league are the u-23s in? Can they be promoted/relegated?

No, the teams in the league are cat 2 sides, split into north and south groups. Top 2 from each enter a play off to determine the winner each season.

Looked like an even younger team we put out than last 23s game.

Would be interesting to know the ages of the Watford players in comparison. Dennis Wise son is 21 who scored their goal.

2 first year scholars, 4 second year scholars and then 5 players on pro contracts, 3 first year pro's, a second year pro and Williams

Swansea’s academy have been sponsored by Swansea university for years. Imagine the piss being boiled of rovers fans if UWE sponsored our academy

Interesting comments about Williams influence

Ideally , Id like to see us playing one or two first teamers in the U23s when it’s feasible , with injuries etc , for that very reason

Couldn’t Hargreaves Lansdown sponsor them for £150m a season? Or do they only let clubs like Derby County and Sheffield Wednesday take the piss?!!

Not considered a reasonable market rate for sponsorship. No reason they wouldn't be allowed to sponsor them providing it was a reasonable rate though.

Usually you would have one or two dropping in for whoever needs some extra minutes but for the obvious reasons of COVID and depleted squad it doesn't seem to really have been possible as much this season.

I know but when clubs like Derby and Sheffield Wednesday sell their grounds dubiously above market rates and either nothing or a token punishment is meted out (those 6 points were always going to be given back to Sheffield Wednesday at a later date the very second the 12 points were deducted in my opinion)..............funny thing is that we are EXACTLY the type of club the EFL would make an example of..........no tradition, not considered a big club in any way, shape or form, should just be happy to be in the Championship season after season etc.!!!

On an unrelated note, given the circumstances behind Derby's pitch on Saturday (ground staff not paid and not working on it, heat lamps not being used to save money, trained on it twice during the week knowing the damage it would cause) they should be deducted the three points from Saturday in my view (nothing given to us, either, just no points awarded at all).

My mate works at UWE, season ticket holder and quite bitter at the best of times. This could tip him over the edge ?

No Towler essentially confirms (barring injury...) he's in the match day squad for tomorrow and we haven't needed him on the bench recently with a back 4 so guessing we're mimicking this (getting Sessegnon practice at WB) and going back 3 tomorrow.
