This is one of the reasons City will struggle to be a top club, because of all this childish pettiness, focus on this Club, it is truly toe curling to read some of the comments on here. We must sound like a load of inbreds to those that happen to look in. How do you manage to work, shit, shower, shave, eat and breathe if all your focus is on city and nothing else?

Ahh, that's the tribal nature of football fans everywhere. This isn't unique to City and Rovers believe it or not. We take the piss out of them any way we can (and they give us plenty of ammo), they take the piss out of us. None of us stop and think "hang on a minute, I can't take the piss out of Rovers fans sitting in a ******* tent provided by their trillionnaire owner because City aren't in the Premier League yet" Anyway, I hope you've got it all off your chest. How many of the best fans in the world will venture up to the mem for that do you think? My guess would be that the crowd will be about 6,200 with 800 odd from Oxford. It's a virtual sellout tomorrow. Oxford have taken their 1,200 and over 9,000 have been sold in advance. POTD will soak up the rest. Darryl's strange new hairstyle is firmly gelled in place. Matty is wearing his lucky scoring pants. And our stunning new Macron kit is ready for its League debut.

It will be tough. Oxford were better than us last year but now Kemar Roofe has joined Leeds and Matty T decided not to leave us for Oxford, we stand a good chance of turning them over in the West Country/South Midlands localish derby. How do you describe where Oxford actually is in the country?

I believe you beat them in the Cup once, about 60 years ago, but have never been good enough to measure up to them in league football. Still at least you got a chance to play their near rivals, Altrinham.

Enjoy the unlikely (pointless actually) sight of us top of the table, have a laugh , but we are sensible enough to know that we will not stay there. Unlike the deluded majority residing at the old Rugby ground who only have to see something mentioned to believe it as gospel , say like someone saying a person is a Billionaire or a contract is watertight , you know THAT sort of thing. Serious question, who gets to sit in the patio chairs ? .
