So Kettering town were the home team there right? I was just thinking that looks better than Chernobyl does now.

I presumed they’d continue with their 100 club draw where they get companies to sign up and it’s drawn from a hat.

They need a 100 companies interested in them for that to work.

Just saw this from BP coverage of Rovers game last night. How bizarre?!

Rovers need to shake out of this funk and they do so. They’ve earned a corner. Lockyer is double-teamed and the hosts clear the danger.

Most of their players would be more suited to American Football to be fair.

Probably a 'ted'!

Would be ironic if they had all been Teds, trying to destroy their club, whilst one of their own* was ploughing hundreds of millions into us..!

Bristol Rovers partnership with Walt Disney continues

Bristol Rovers Football Club has announced that global media giant, The Disney Corporation, have extended their partnership with the club for the next three seasons.

The Walt Disney Company, commonly known as Walt Disney or simply Disney is an American diversified multinational mass media and entertainment conglomerate, headquartered at the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California. It is the world's largest independent media conglomerate in terms of revenue ahead of NBCUniversal and WarnerMedia, which are owned by telecommunications giants Comcast and AT&T

Last season, Disney sponsored the South Stand at the Mem and this sponsorship will be extended for the next three seasons.

Rovers Commercial Director Tom Gorringe said: “This is the first of a few new exciting partnerships for the club as we look to transform our partnership base. It is great for the club to be aligning ourselves with such a prominent and progressive global business.”

Disney Group Chief Executive Officer, Russell Lane said: “Disney are delighted to extend our support of Bristol Rovers and play our part in improving the experience for supporters. Nothing personifies Mickey Mouse more than the way Bristol Rovers is run as a football club. In addition, this partnership will allow us to continue to support the club by investing in the academy when supporters use any of our services. Over the course of the next three years, we look forward to connecting with fans in Horfield and beyond into Lockleaze.”

However, the new agreement doesn’t end there, with Disney also sponsoring a new big screen which will help transform the matchday experience for supporters. The screen is set to be installed following the start of the season.

Well Ive heard its either Thatchers or Dyson both are in talks !...………. the information came from a very excited gentlemen who has close contacts with the club.

Dyson would be a great fit for a club that 'suck' at everything they do.

Rovers haven't done anything stupid for a few days now. I'm getting worried.

They are most likely on the verge of signing barry Hayles back or maybe cureton.

Micky Mouse club.

Don’t..!

I once thought I’d solved my fancy dress dilemma buy placing a winning bid on eBay for a “Micky Mouse outfit”.

I was horrified when I discovered that I’d just bought a stake in Bristol Rovers..!

Do my eyes deceive me? The 'stand' on the left of this picture doesn't appear to be parallel to the pitch. This would mean that the views of their supporters are badly skewed. Surely not?

That tent end is hilarious. It's literally a market stall with some temporary seating underneath. I bet a season ticket for that part of the ground is a similar price to our south stand as well.

Which one..?!

Every time I look at the Mem I recall the great Rugby matches I've watched Bris play there (and some bad ones as well).

Then I recall how those thieving ******* stole the ground.

It was never meant to be a place where football is played and fortunately, as it's where the Sags squat it still isn't.

What a dump. All that its missing is 20 rusting old cars and a crane with a big magnet.

Look at that big top with the deck chair fabric and the amateurish B R F   C

Its like they've forgotten what the "C" stands for when we all know what it stands for!

Must have been done by the same Muppet who coloured in the whiteboard P1010788.JPG

Clubs of non league supporters would be embarrassed to be seen in that.

Oh!

Seriously though, how can they be proud to call that home? It looks like a fcking marquee.

It's actually 5 quid more expensive.

Yes that's right, you could pay £350 to watch rovers play the likes of Fleetwood and Luton in a tent or you could pay £345 to watch us play the likes of Leeds or Aston villa in a state of the art 5000 seater stand...

Tough choice to be honest

Did anything happen about that time somebody threw a pound coin at the directors box, and nobody knew if it was assault or a takeover bid?

Another bit of gold from their forum...
The Tractor club were willing to pay £2m for Mattee Tee. Before BCFC82 offered him double the wages

They don't get it do they, why would ipswich pay £2 million on a player who has a £300k release clause...

IIRC the owners didn't even know how the release clause worked, not realising that once we had made the bid MT was free to hold talks with us regardless.

Can we put faces to names ? Dopey is obvious.

Image result for seven dwarfs

Grumpy = some of their fans who realise their club is going nowhere.

Happy = Henbury gas who would have us all believe the Rovers will soon be a Premier league team playing at a state of the art stadium whereas City are going down.

1) When the hell did Ipswich offer them £2 million for Taylor?

2) Those Sagheads haven’t got a clue what Mattys wages are. One minute they’re saying he’s on 10k a week, then it’s 12k, then 15k...anything to make themselves feel better about losing their best player to us for peanuts.

Bullshitters.
