They are currently jizzing themselves over there because a player (lockyer) has been called up for Wales.

However the FAW obviously realise there is only 1 team in Bristol...

Whaaaat?    I've been using this forum for quite a while now………… why didn't I know about our 'sleeping giant' status???  Why have none of my fellow 'teds told me about this?  I must be missing the posts where this is banged on about.

The delusion of the person who believes that we think we're a bloody sleeping giant is absolutely frightening.  For me, the allegation that we City fans think we are a sleeping giant absolutely sums up the thick, jealous, self-righteous 'everybody loves da gas' tw4ts.  Is it any wonder that I'm not very keen on BRFC and their 'followers'?  I wouldn't sprinkle on one of them if they were on fire.

Herein lies the problem with the Sags. They see us as ‘arrogant’ with a ‘chip on our shoulders’, ‘up our own arses’ and ‘believe we are sleeping giants’....even though all we have done is support City as opposed to them. This totally twisted and deluded view of City fans provides them with all the ‘ammo’ that they need to feel hard done by and play the victim.

They won a game on the weekend and we lost at Reading and suddenly they all crawled out from under their rocks “Singing the blues” and delighting in our defeat at Reading....and they aren’t obsessed like the “gurt Teds”. I don’t see the same delightful outpouring when we win and they lose....I don’t.....but none of them can contain themselves, NONE of them!

"Let them continue to rack up massive debts, one day that vile turncoat will pull out and they will be a fourth division team playing in front of 5000 fans."

When Rovers drop (at the end of this season?), will they get 5,000 for their games. Last season only six clubs averaged over 5,000; Coventry, Lincoln, Luton, Notts Co, Swindon and Chesterfield.

You do mean for their away support, don't you?

They probably will get 5k at the rugby ground though. They are after all, the Barcelona of league 2.

So bitter ??

SL is clearly here to stay, bad luck Saggies. Wonder if the Al Qadis are as committed to them?

Crowds of 5000 is more their historical level, not ours. They struggle to shift that many STs in LEAGUE ONE let alone the 'fourth division'. Their attendances are already heading that way this season because they've lost a few games, fickle weirdos.

The thing they can`t grasp is that, even if we were to plummet down the leagues and end up in the newly-renamed division 5, I doubt our crowds would ever dip below 5000.

Won't be long till one of them says 'he is more interested in rugby/basketball than football and he will be reducing his investment'.

Choosing to overlook the fact that his investment has taken us close to the FFP limit.

One already has and it should come as no surprise to find it was the serial fantasist, Henbury S*g. He`s on there claiming to know for a fact that SL is more interested in the rugby now and will shortly be pulling the plug on City.

Well, the oracle has spoken. I`m off to support Exeter now as there`s clearly no future in sticking with City.

You can imagine him joining up with his team mates, and then after he’s finished getting their autographs & scrubbing their boots, people like Gareth Bale congratulating him on his move to a proper football club. He might leave enough time for them to get in a few jokes about the memorial ground, Babe station & horse punching, before he has to point out that it’s an error and that is indeed where he still plays.

"With City's fickle fans if they get relegated with large wages, they do a 82 all over again."

We've never had average 5k crows have we? They have.

"City's fanbase may have the numbers, but they don't have anyone like Gordon Bennett, Ray Kendall, Steve Burns, Jim Chappell, the 50/50 sellers, the people who do their bit on the forums etc, people who devote hours unpaid year in year out and that is why they could soon be in real trouble.

This small time mentality keeps them where they are, excluding the fact that we do have the things he talks about.. none of this matters in 2018, it's all big corporate business meetings & private events that bring the money in for the club, these small (but appreciated) things that the fans do for the club make a relatively insignificant difference to the future of the club.

"When SL leaves, what is going to happen to City? "

Do they not know that JL is being primed to take over from his father when the time comes? We have 50+ more years of this, unless we're sold, and if we are I know SL will make sure it's the right sell for the club and city.

I can just imagine an eighty five year old LJ doing the matchday prezzer.

( same old bollocks probably)

That should definitely be the pic on the front of the Christmas card that Mr Lansdown will undoubtedly send to old Wally and DC up the road....

They are missing a trick up the Mem.

The number of tents, sheds and portacabins they have, they could probably stage a really good nativity play.

Granted, finding 3 wise men and a virgin could be a challenge, but no shortage of donkeys.

No room at the Inn? No problem. Gasheads will be able to empathise with the story and will welcome little baby Jeebus to their development squad (as long as he buys his own kit).

TBF looking at state of some of their supporters you'd probably say most of them are Virgins.

I’d imagine they hear ‘no room at the Inn’ every time their massive away following rocks up at yet another sold out away end....or is them that imagines that on a regular basis?!

They've already had a visit of the 3 "wise" men from the East in the name of Samer, Hani and Wael. Travelling thousands of miles via Gillingham to bear gifts for JC DC.....

Marigolds.....to start the clean up of the Mem

Campingtents.......which will be fabulous football stands and a

Developerrh........to draw up some housing plans for the Mem site

Their average away attendance this season is a massive(?) 581.

I know they love to compare away support with ours on the odd occasion they take a decent following somewhere so for the record....our average so far is over 1200.

Travelling in huge numbers “it’s just what they do” apparently. Funny how they disappear after they lose a few games...

Unfortunately our away average is sure to drop as we have already had the relatively easy and appealing games at WBA, Swansea, Reading, QPR & Brentford, can only thing of the two B’ham clubs and Millwall where we’ll take over 1000 in our remaining games

Of course...but then we dont go around making a big deal about how many we take to away matches. It’s a shame we had QPR and West Brom in midweek as well as a lower allocation for Reading.

He might as well be playing for City because as soon as he puts on a ‘red shirt’ he will be disowned and banned from the ground. They’ll turn their backs on him because it’s an insult for anyone associated with the Sags to don anything red. Even Santa has to be blue in their portaloo grotto. They will never forgive him unless he insists on wearing blue, even if it means he has to play in goal, or it will be ’Sheeeeed’ead Sheeeeed’ead’ every time he touches the ball when he comes back to Rovers. He’ll probably have to move house 3 or 4 times. ******* snake!
