Bless. What's your self proclaimed billionaire done for you? How much money has he spent? What's he genuinely done apart from making himself look stupid with the whole Taylor saga, as like your whole club did.

As for managers saying stupid stuff, your moronic manager said Taylor would only be leaving for £10m+:laugh:

You might be 9 unbeaten, how much of the games have you won? If only you didn't sell your best player for peanuts

How is he a self proclaimed billionaire?

BRFC were run like a conference south level side or below from the day we left Eastville. Our days at Bath while successful saw other clubs get new stadiums ,training grounds and general investment while we got tents and temporary toilets!

When we moved back to Bristol we never moved forward and were slowly dying as a club - first by dropping into league two in 2001 and then again in 2010? and then falling into non league in 2014.

Wael and our new owners have come in and made modest improvements to the Mem.Improved our PR department, signed a better shirt deal and Written off our debts.

We have also now got a proper scouting network in place.A medical team instead of poor old phil.Experts  in at board level to tackle marketing,as well a team to reach a deal with the UWE.And the training ground has already started being built.

Wael has spent money but In a wise way, and as it's be stated it's - evolution not revolution. We don't have the infrastructure yet in place to spend millions but we a building that.

Not at knock at your club but the mistakes that SL has made over the years including up until this very day has cost him millions as you didn't have the tools to do the job at times over the years.

That is complete bollox!

You keep telling yourself that and living a pipe dream that we will always be in your shadow, when we are now a far better run club then you are.

Wally as you call him has made no random predictions that we will be in the premiership within X amount of time or, like your manager saying you could be playing in European football within 5 years.Or saying he will spend millions on £9million strikers...Unlike your owner he just gets on with his job without making himself look like damm tool..!

"The Wally" has done more to the infrastructure of our club in his first year then pantysdown did for your club within his first decade, regardless of money the latter spent!  The Ashton gate rebuild has only happened in the last year and is his only legacy.

Al Qadi does seem very level headed. The majority of Gasheads at the time he arrived were the complete opposite, w@nking away on Gaschat and Facebook about how you were going to start spending millions on players and stumping up all the funds for the UWE Stadium.

Like LJ talking about the Europa League in 5 years, those predictions seem a bit silly now. In Johnson's defence, when you've got 27k Stadium and an ambitious boss like Steve Lansdown who constantly puts his money where his mouth is, he was hardly going to say the ambition for the next 5 years was to become a Championship/L1 yoyo club like we have been for most of our history.

As for SL doing nothing for the infrastructure at BCFC in the first 10 years he was here, you're ignoring the plans we had for a new stadium at Ashton Vale. The fact those plans were ultimately dashed and that SL then redeveloped AG into the stadium it is today is credit to our owner.

Al Qadi arrived with the UWE Plans already in place, without those plans I doubt he and his family would've ever considered investing in Rovers.

Proved that by bidding £10M+ for players and then refusing to pay the wages that £10M players seek.

Have we bid £10m for anyone?

Surely refusing to bow to huge wage demands is a sign of being sensible with the finances?

You lot need to decide exactly what it is that you're criticising SL about because you all seem a bit confused.

Where did that figure come from?

Very smart to have a wage cap Im not going to educate you on why as it would be a wasted effort.

Your basically chatting out your ass......is this still about Taylor?

I'm not ITK, but I do listen to and read about City. If this is about last season attempts at getting some top strikers in, well , I did read/hear ...

We had bid accepted
We matched wages
the player came out of respect, but wanted to go elsewhere.

Maybe it was a little ambitious , but if you don't ask you get. Plus simply the fact that Lee Tomlin is here, suggests he does back up words with deeds.
Plus there has to be common sense with wages, as we have learned to our cost they can soon spiral, not something that is likely to happen with the Mem's Billionaire is it?

I think you'll find that the wages we offered wasn't the issue according to SL. Gayle wanted to stay in the Prem and Gray thought Burnley were a better option.

Now, if you said we went for unrealistic targets you would have a valid point.
