Wordle,Heardle and Framed for me.Never tried Quordle.

Give it a try.

It is the same game, in principle, as WORDLE, save there are four interlinked grids, as opposed to WORDLE’s single grid.

I find it far more challenging and less a game of chance.

I am also probably just a little bit biased, as I have never failed to complete QUORDLE, whereas WORDLE....?.

I should take a look I suppose Phil.I try to limit my time on the Internet. I come on Otib (too much!),and have to use WhatsApp for work, but have never used Facebook, Twitter or Instagram or anything like that.

A very wise decision re.Twitter and the like, I am the same.

If you enjoy WORDLE, though, give QUORDLE a go, and I am sure you will find it more challenging and satisfying - and time consuming ?.

Which one was it, i.e. what number?

I play it from France, but assume it is the same one, 498, but perhaps we are out of synch over here.

Am I perhaps dancing around the wrong tune?

I can't see what number it is Phil, but from what you have posted it must be the same one.

And this is why I maintain that WORDLE is almost a game of chance.

I completed this one in three - as is often the case, due to an inspired guess - but could just as easily have failed completely.

My success rate in WORDLE must be almost as low as 90%, whereas I still maintain a 100% success rate with QUORDLE, a game where a little bit of thought and patience (especially when there is an American spelling of a word!) leads inevitably to a successful completion.

Give QUORDLE another try @Slacker; be patient, and you will not regret it.

Got it on the fifth attempt today but spent a long time thinking about it .Maybe I should give Quordle another try but to be honest patience isn't my strongest point.

Ha!

You said you gave today's WORDLE a few hours' thought, but you would have finished today's QUORDLE whilst you were pondering ?.

New to this thread but I’ve done wordle for a while.

To save me wading through 14 pages a couple of questions:

do many people ever get the word in one go?

is it acceptable to be smug and self satisfied if you do?

No.                                                          Yes.

I have got it in two goes before, but that is obviously due to pure chance rather than any skill or intuition.

I have mentioned in previous posts that I consider WORDLE very much a game of chance, hence the reason I far prefer QUORDLE.

The worst kind of day when you get 3 great clues on the first go and there are umpteen possible answers.

Wordle 514 6/6

?⬜??⬜
?⬜??⬜
?⬜??⬜
?⬜??⬜
?⬜??⬜
?????

I got it in four, but we clearly have a different starting word.

I can’t copy the solution on my phone, but I shall be visiting the solution tomorrow morning for my breakfast provisions.
