It won't last. He can't keep it up for long. Anyway, we know his strengths and weaknesses, especially that a couple of strong tackles early on will finish him off. ExiledAjax
Unchanged bar Scott to RWB and Williams in for Sykes. A penny for Wilson's thoughts. Quote Link to comment
sglosbcfc
Polite applause for COD before and after the game, but when he's performing for Cardiff out on the pitch lots of stick. Quote Link to comment

And Its Smith
Not a surprising line up really. Guess we will see soon if Pearson has got it right. Tanner 4th choice RWB now then. What a signing! Quote Link to comment
pl00peh91
Poor Tanner and Wilson can’t get a game at the mo 1 Quote Link to comment
ashton_fan
Personally would have left Williams on the bench, feel sorry for Wilson 3 Quote Link to comment
petehinton
Love that team. 5 subs so gives us lots of options to change it. Big ask to expect Wilson or Tanner to come straight in for this game imo. 2 Quote Link to comment

RedinSpain
Scott at RWB (hmmm) or 4-3-3/4-3-1-2? Quote Link to comment
AshtonRobin21
All the excitement about signing Wilson, and he isn't given a game in his natural position. Scott is an incredible midfielder, but cannot be shoehorned into the right-wing back role in order to make space for others. Must be frustrating for Wilson. 3 Quote Link to comment

Negan
Why doesn’t he play a right back at right back. Beyond frustrating now. He signed both of them ffs 1 Quote Link to comment

wendyredredrobin
Personally, I think this is our best team and formation as things stand until Semenyeo, Kalas and Sykes are fit again. 1 Quote Link to comment
Lordofthebling
Scott v O Dowda concerns me... Why do we always do square pegs in round holes? Scott massively impressed against Luton, I thought we were finally over this #### from last year after we signed wilson. Edited August 21, 2022 by Lordofthebling 1 Quote Link to comment

As such I think we'll have his dynamism and passing in midfield anyway, just offset to the side. He'll link well with Weimann and Conway, I've no real issue with his selection there. If it doesn't work, then we've 5 subs and two right sided players to change things with. Edited August 21, 2022 by ExiledAjax 4 Quote Link to comment

Alex Scott is no shrinking violet. He will know that COD doesn't like a tackle. He's a very decent wing back in my opinion. Edited August 21, 2022 by wendyredredrobin 2 Quote Link to comment
Port Said Red
It's early days, all these players will get chances, the days of it being all about the starting 11 went out of the window years ago. The players know that, about time the fans worked it out too. 5 Quote Link to comment

alexukhc
Frustrating that we won’t see Wilson, Han played well at Luton tho, otherwise I’d of put Scott for Han and Wilson for Sykes Quote Link to comment
IAmNick
Wilson is clearly a very talented player, but he's only 22 and has barely played half a season above league 2 level and never in the championship. His time will come, I trust Pearson and co to introduce him to the championship in the best way for him. I'm sure it's frustrating but hopefully he understands why. 8 Quote Link to comment
