Anyway, we know his strengths and weaknesses, especially that a couple of strong tackles early on will finish him off.

All the excitement about signing Wilson, and he isn't given a game in his natural position. 

Scott is an incredible midfielder, but cannot be shoehorned into the right-wing back role in order to make space for others. 

Must be frustrating for Wilson.

I think we will miss Scott's dynamism in midfield, I would have put Wilson in. Dont get the whole joe Williams thing really, what does he offer?

Scott not been playing well at RWB though. Why move someone from where they’ve been doing well?  He signed 2 RWBs. Maybe he could play one of them

Scott has played very well in CM to be fair, rather than RWB. He was most effective in a double pivot against Luton

Personally, I think this is our best team and formation as things stand until Semenyeo, Kalas and Sykes are fit again.

Why do we always do square pegs in round holes?

Scott massively impressed against Luton, I thought we were finally over this #### from last year after we signed wilson.

Tanner will get a chance. Suspect he'll get some minutes at Wycombe. Has to make his claim when he can.

If Scott is instructed to play RWB in the style of Sykes, then it's a very high RWB. Much more of the 'Wing" than the "Back". As such I think we'll have his dynamism and passing in midfield anyway, just offset to the side. He'll link well with Weimann and Conway, I've no real issue with his selection there.

If it doesn't work, then we've 5 subs and two right sided players to change things with.

Alex Scott is no shrinking violet.  He will know that COD doesn't like a tackle. He's a very decent wing back in my opinion.

It's early days, all these players will get chances, the days of it being all about the starting 11 went out of the window years ago.

The players know that, about time the fans worked it out too.

Yes, possibly a lop sided shape with Scott's starting position being higher than Dasilva's.

Frustrating that we won’t see Wilson, Han played well at Luton tho, otherwise I’d of put Scott for Han and Wilson for Sykes

Wilson is clearly a very talented player, but he's only 22 and has barely played half a season above league 2 level and never in the championship. His time will come, I trust Pearson and co to introduce him to the championship in the best way for him.

I'm sure it's frustrating but hopefully he understands why.
