That’s called having a bit of form not improvement. Ain’t no good having a few good games then going straight back to boring, hopeless football. Holden got the boot for doing a better job than this.

We had a style of play then. Yes we made errors at the back, but it was exciting attacking football. Taking the game to teams on the front first. God knows what our style is now, keep ball at the back and then hoping for the counter attack. So one dimensional.

Don’t wanna go round in circles but he was deliberately not given the chance to make it work so Lansdown could bring in a family friend to lap dance for him while he sat there and threw money at him.

Think there was more to it than that, Cotts deliberately aired some of the behind the scenes stuff in public, including not naming subs in one game just to make a point. Like in any job, if you try to undermine your boss and get caught there are consequences. I think that was just a series of relationships that had run their course

Awful first half. Pretty pathetic stuff.

Felt like watching us against a premier league team in the cup, such was the gulf in class.

Swansea schooling us in not only how to press, but how to break the press.

Our only hope was looking long and for set pieces, all of which were wasted with poor quality. We had a few strings of passes but few and far between.

An absolute stinker from Atkinson - the worst of several stray passes all over the pitch which suggest a complete lack of confidence in the team, worryingly.

Without making excuses, when we did get in the area, we've had two very strong pen shouts - for Semenyo - if the defender did get the ball, it was the slightest touch, whilst still going through the back on Semenyo. The Atkinson one he was 100% clipped. Getting nothing from the ref as usual.

Only positive - Vyner - outstanding half reading, blocking and intercepting. Continuing to develop really well as a player.

Sluggish, passive.

One attempt on goal - the Naismith free kick over the bar in the first minute.

Mind you, for all their passing, swansea have only had one shot off target and the goal.

Time for NP to gee them up, they can't be that bad second half.

Can they ?

Are you for real? Under Holden we had consecutive games where we never even had a shot or a corner in 45 minutes. By all means criticise the Manager but don’t make things up.

Yep........he has only had 2 years........better give him another 2............because it's not Nigel's fault!!  ???

You’re one of the divs that thinks changing the manager will solve everything without putting forward a solution . Until we have a change at the very top we won’t see anything different . I’m sick to *******  death of supporting these players . Stop blaming the manager & point the finger at some of theses useless overpaid ******* wearing our shirt .

Do you think another manager could get better performances from them?

Dreadful so far from us we’ve hardly had the ball and on the rare occasion we have we pass straight to one of their players. Gifted them a goal + Conway gone off injured.

We have essentially been given a footballing lesson by a team who create space, options and overloads for fun, retain the ball and make quick/correct decisions, which in essence is the polar opposite to us!

Our inability to make a tackle has also been highlighted and with increasing desperation we have started to lunge in KN picking up a yellow for his foul. The BBC says we’ve had 41% of the ball, however, it doesn’t feel like that to me! We have been chasing shadows for most of the half. We really have looked a very poor side in the opening half.

Only positives I can offer are it’s only 1-0 and Scott looks like he wants something from this game - which sadly may be a move elsewhere.

Frustrating to give away such a simple goal, Swansea playing there typical Keep ball and playing with purpose. Other than the odd Pring run we had no width at all, we have to stretch the play we won't win the central midfield battle. I'd like to see Weimann go on the right wing so it's a more 3-4-3 rather  then our usual 3-4-1-2.
