Hahahaha. I know! Have you seen the bit where Del Boy calls Rodney a "Plonker"!? So funny ???

Best bit ever is when Del Boy falls over in the pub when the barman leaves the side flap of the bar top open. How does David Jason do that? Knowing he is about to go over, possibly very painfully and making himself look like he doesn't know it will happen. Brilliant, exraordinary acting.

Doubt that it was painful. Out of sight he probably fell onto a large airbed or mattress. Comedy gold certainly, brilliant acting meh!

You're not going to believe this but there's even a scene where Trigger only goes and gets Rodney's name wrong. He calls him Dave!

(Sorry @Rudolf Hucker - think that was a spoiler again.)

Let's get it back on topic - Only Fools and Horses really is shit.

I thought there was a separate section , General Chat for everything non football , so that people don’t use a transfer forum to talk shit for 4/ 5 pages

You're wrong but I admire your adamance. ?

Are we signing someone called David Jason or Antoine McCrory then?

This thread has gone typically OTIB bonkers tbh!

I ain’t…

Always said if he scores 10 goals I will change the title of the post.

That’s because I am big enough to admit  it when I am wrong.

At the moment I am ‘not’

Also note - it’s not me that brings up the post.

It’s sad **** as someone as called them.

Just point out, if that's your qualifying factor, City - historically - miss out on some fantastic strikers.

Thierry Henry had 3 in 16 before joining Arsenal. Just saying.

Secondly, on Semenyos rate of 1 in 4, had he stayed - he would have, in theory, got 12 this season. Although I would qualify that by saying, it depends on your definition of striker. He's by no means a poacher - but that role is basically irrelevant in the modern Championship and EPL.

Hi all,

been a while, as previous post Bryan & Mcorie are both done. We are not in for the AFC Wimbledon striker & we are extremely close to bringing in a championship centre back.

have a great weekend, be patient & enjoy the sunshine.

Any word on who the CB is? Thanks for sharing :)

Challenge - who knows what Buster Merryfield had in common with Junior Bent?

If I know my stuff…

Buster came into acting late after a career in banking/financial services

Junior, post football, I believe became an IFA or similar.

So I think it’s that they both worked in financial services.

Or that Ian Alexander tried to break both their legs.

Very good. Specifically, both were managers for NatWest, Buster before going into acting full time, and Junior after he stopped playing.

Good to know ‘Despite having three-years on his contract, McCrorie is expected to leave for a fee worth around £2million plus add-ons with Bristol City's conduct during the transfer negotiations believed to have been "exemplary".’

I like the bit that we saw off West Brom and Norwich too.
