1960maaan
I could get picky with a few things, but seems pointless ATM, sorry at the moment I think we have a genuine reason for optimism for next year. Good summer, signings in early and we could be pushing towards the top 10, 6 even. It's going to be a long summer. 1 Quote Link to comment
Atyeo's lift
If anybody had told me we'd finish one place behind Norwich and three behind Watford at the start of the season, I'd have taken it Quote Link to comment
Northern Red
Great way to finish, well done all. 1 Quote Link to comment
Curr Avon
I hate to disparage the opposition, but QPR were shit. On a serious note, our defending was superb. Vyner was his commanding best. Zackenbauer? And some of the last ditch tackling and blocking was tremendous. A scrappy game, but so comfortable for City in the end. Oh, and Matty James is a legend. weepywall
So we finish 15 points above 3rd from bottom and 10 points off 6th, not bad all things considered, looking forward to next season. Quote Link to comment
Selred
Dasilva also clapping the City fans, another one off. Shame, always could of been more, but best of luck to him. 5 Quote Link to comment

George Rs
Think he deserves a mention, Kalas didn’t look out of place at all, next season I think Pearson definitely offers him a reduced contract as I think he’ll be back to his best with a full pre season. Whether he takes the contract is another question entirely but I hope he does. Centrebacks like that certainly aren’t cheap. Edited May 8, 2023 by George Rs 2 Quote Link to comment

Just showed it on Robins TV. In some respects his departure could help us reach the next level. I just hope his people choose the right club for his development, and not be a loan cash cow. I saw a suggestion about Brighton, he could do worse. Quote Link to comment
Curr Avon
McCartney- esque Sorry Albert.... We're so sorry, uncle Albert We're so sorry if we caused you any pain We're so sorry, uncle Albert But there's no one left at home And I believe I'm gonna rain Quote Link to comment

According to RB Scott was coming off but Williams being injured changed that at the last minute. Possibly Nige wanted to play safe with AS if possible - maybe another hint? Quote Link to comment
Bris Red
A solid season, onwards and upwards. Certainly feeling positive about the future under Pearson! 5 Quote Link to comment
Dan Robin
A good way to finish the season: well done, lads! In August I predicted 14th place for City : a nice achievement, that with better refereeings and less injuries could have been a Top10. Hopefully we'll be battling for it next season. COYR! Mr Popodopolous
Was quite happy with that. Some strong passing football , two worthy goal scorers...Had to weather a bit of a storm early 2nd half but was never too worried about the win, 2 goals , 3 points, clean sheet- but a solid season and clear improvements. Offside
As others have said, a good end to the season. 14th is higher than I thought we’d finish after that WBA defeat at Xmas. Lots to be positive about, and hopefully and exciting summer ahead with the squad being freshened up. Quote Link to comment

BCFCGav
We were under the cosh a bit at times but a well earned clean sheet for the boys. I’d still prefer Naismith in DM I think, but he played well at the back today. Side note, I really rate Bell. High ceiling there I reckon. Quote Link to comment
