I think we have a genuine reason for optimism for next year. Good summer, signings in early and we could be pushing towards the top 10, 6 even. 

It's going to be a long summer.

I hate to disparage the opposition, but QPR were shit.

On a serious note, our defending was superb.

Vyner was his commanding best. Zackenbauer?

And some of the last ditch tackling and blocking was tremendous.

A scrappy game, but so comfortable for City in the end.

Oh, and Matty James is a legend.

Yep, think it's clear from those scenes at the end that Scott and DaSilva are off. No surprise.

Think he deserves a mention, Kalas didn’t look out of place at all, next season I think Pearson definitely offers him a reduced contract as I think he’ll be back to his best with a full pre season. Whether he takes the contract is another question entirely but I hope he does. Centrebacks like that certainly aren’t cheap.

Just showed it on Robins TV. In some respects his departure could help us reach the next level. I just hope his people choose the right club for his development, and not be a loan cash cow. I saw a suggestion about Brighton, he could do worse.

According to RB Scott was coming off but Williams being injured changed that at the last minute. Possibly Nige wanted to play safe with AS if possible - maybe another hint?

A good way to finish the season: well done, lads!

In August I predicted 14th place for City  : a nice achievement, that with better refereeings and less injuries could have been a Top10.

Hopefully we'll be battling for it next season. COYR!

Was quite happy with that.

Some strong passing football , two worthy goal scorers...Had to weather a bit of a storm early 2nd half but was never too worried about the win, 2 goals , 3 points, clean sheet- but a solid season and clear improvements.

As others have said, a good end to the season. 14th is higher than I thought we’d finish after that WBA defeat at Xmas. 

Lots to be positive about, and hopefully and exciting summer ahead with the squad being freshened up.

We were under the cosh a bit at times but a well earned clean sheet for the boys. I’d still prefer Naismith in DM I think, but he played well at the back today.

Side note, I really rate Bell. High ceiling there I reckon.
