Struggle to remember a side at our level looking so unprepared this close to a new season. One of their CBs (Dunne) has just gone off with a shoulder injury (it looks serious), so the 2 playing CB at present have 1 minute of league experience between them, it would be like us starting with Araoye & Knight-Lebel next week. George Rs
Good game tbf. Clean sheet always nice, the game showed the level of press we can set. Thought we looked like we didn’t have to leave 2nd gear most the time. Our first half team sheet with a couple of tweaks is what we will play against Preston I think. RoystonFoote'snephew
Decent work out. A much more competitive fixture. City now have a behind closed doors fixture on Tuesday at the HPC where Benarous is expected to get some minutes and it's the full steam ahead to next Saturday. Didn't the Gas beat them 2 - 0 Anyway they are worrying about their new stand which they have started building without planning consent. Now the neighbours have complained about it, they have sold over 3000 season tickets and it won't be finished in time for the start of the season. They keep on giving, don't they!

Jose
A bit more scrappy second half, which is to be expected with all the changes. Still enjoyable. Thought Robert’s looked technically very good. Bring on next Saturday.

Mr Popodopolous
Been otherwise engaged this weekend but found snippets online. Sounds encouraging. No knocks I hope, that is key. The changes shows the depth and didn't seem albeit text commentary via Twitter only like we were too stretched even when younger players came on? petehinton
Feeling really really confident and happy with how we’ve shaped up for the season. Looked really good again today. So fit and strong. We basically have 2 teams now too. Made 10 subs and still dominated. And that’s before Kal, McCrorie, Ayman and Atkinson are back and available. Really exciting times. 2
