There’s a bit of skill by Nakhi as well in this clip, bloody hell that’s why they are pros, superb stuff.

In one of the recent Instagram videos the players are asked "Who is the manager's favourite". I think James gets the most overall "nominations" but interesting to me was that most of the youngsters said Leeson.

Is he going to be this year's breakout star? Seems to have impressed Pearson enough to be noted by his peers.

Not there, same as Atkinson - it's a long road back from an ACL, especially if you've don't it twice in short order. He's further along his rehab than Atkinson obviously but still way off being ready for first team action.

And with a player of his potential, there's no reason to rush him and loads to be extra careful with his recovery.

Yes indeed but even then, when it came to the properly competitive drills involving contact, he was off with the U21s, not in the thick of it with the first teamers.

So it's steady as we go with him. And why not, he's got the potential to be a massive player for us.

Unlikely. Our Nige is as straight talking as you can get.

We got approx 1.45 points per game with roughly that formation (ie the 2023 part of the season) last season. Gets you  67 points over 46 games. A bit of luck takes that to 70ish, an unlucky season drops it to 63ish.

Either way your looking at, with lots of assumptions around performance, injuries etc, a reasonable bet of a 7th - 10th place finish.

If we've recruited well and it all comes together at the same time as it crumbles for a few other teams then there's a slim chance of a top 6 finish
