Don't know what their average 'extra time' minutes are compared to other teams, but will be interesting come Saturday to see if they still continue with his game shithousery as we call it? chinapig
There's just no stability there. Every season there is too much churn in their squad, as shown by 17 signings this summer. It makes hard to get any cohesion, establish a way of playing and build team spirit.

Crazy to think it wasn't long ago they had a front 3 of Shaqiri, Arnautovic and Bojan. Seems to have been a total mismanagement at Stoke for quite some years. He played for Cardiff as well with that knob Cavanagh when they both left Stoke. 8

Mr Popodopolous
What was their allocation anyway? Difficult to find. I know the last 3 sides have taken 3k, 2.5k and 3.4k or thereabouts respectively. West Brom didn't actually fill theirs, the other 2 did. Lew-T
Whenever Alex Neil comes to Ashton Gate, I’m never really confident. The guy is a very good shithouse. His football is awful to watch though!

ralphindevon
Stoke are a good example of why you should be more like Nige and rarely if ever use the loan system. Last season they started to have a good run, then a few of their loan players were showing signs of not being bothered, one even tweeting how he was looking forward to getting back to his parent club This season they start afresh all over again.

Mr Popodopolous
Another 3k or 3.4k then, assume the latter. Agreed,, im up there quite a lot as my mrs lives up there so i keep an eye out for their results/ to avoid traffic on saturdays. There has been a lot of money spent and they were in the europa league not that long ago, one of the things nige has got right here is the lack of reliance on loan signings, some of these clubs have to start from scratch every year and its not easy.
