They also had 1 shot on target to our 3 and I can't recall them having a clear cut chance all game.

Yes, Cov outplayed us in the middle of the pitch in the first half, but the game ended up being far far less one sided than many are making out.

You can tell the second half was more comfortable just by looking at the number of pages on this thread. 5 between kick off and the start of the second half, barely 2 after half time.

I really don’t know what to make of that. Very strange. I get we have injuries but by god the first 40 minutes was an utter mess. We looked all over the place. 
Once we finally changed it, we looked alot more organised and for all their possession they didn’t look like scoring. Why not just look to pass the ball around. We just kept hoofing it to their centre half’s to recycle possession. @Davefevs there must be some pretty poor passing stats there. I can’t remember the last time we struggled to pass the ball. If I was a Cov fan I’d be fuming with my team after that. Dickie ( who looks a great signing) and King standouts. Knight made a big difference.

A massive win but painful to watch.

That win is a credit to the culture of the club. Sykes RB and King CB two standouts and absolutely sensational.

We were all over the place trying to play 5-3-2, once Knight came on for Roberts and we switched to our usual 4-3-3 we looked so much better. Hard fought win.

Great tactical work by the coaches. After that 30 minute blitz, they made the right change and the only way we win that is to make the game scruffy which we did fantastically. Second half we kept them at arms length. For that patched up side to get 3 points is brilliant.
