In fairness, is there an argument to say that we've actually had the 2 best chances of the game? (Dickie header and Weimann chance)

For all Coventry's possession, I can't recall them having a shot from inside our box?

You have to admit we were crap until the change of formation and sub.

Good take from the Coventry forum, before our change of formation -

Talking about us:

"They are going to have find an extra man deeper in midfield from somewhere so that their wingbacks can get higher. Their 3 in midfield is Matty James sitting a bit deeper than the other 2 and we've got their wingbacks penned back because he can't manage the horizantal line through defensive midfield on his own. If he can't restructure those 3 in the middle he's going to have to sacrifice a striker or a centre back. Would be nice to get a goal before he does"

Agree we were crap, but that doesn't change the point - had Coventry actually had any good chances? Or had they just had a few decent attempts from outside the box?

They’ve had several good chances in my book. Some of those from outside the box weren’t just hopeful punts, they were very good.
It helps having the ref on our side too!! At this rate I’m expecting us to get at least one penalty!
Very happy with the 1-0 though, even if I still can’t quite work out how we managed it.

Sounds like the Coventry version of Fevs.

Well you've just learnt what kind of person you are....

Are you a results based person?

Or

Are you performance based?

Personally the score is funny. And a bit of a joke

Results. Rather this pile of manure and win than play like Man City and lose. Not always pretty but I’d always take the 3 points.

Maybe we are just due some luck, we don’t get much of it especially from the referees

That was particularly horrific with a back 5. The experiment failed badly.

We still looked a tad ragged after changing that but at least got some possession, and Knight has made a difference.

BUT... it's only halftime and Cov look good enough to give us all sorts of problems 2nd half.

Given he’s a shoe-in for Nige’s job, it’s probably Mark Robins’ note to SL which he inadvertently posted on the Cov Forum.
